The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Is there an accessory that will allow me to use my TB headset via optical audio w/o having to switch the cable i.e going from PS4 to PS3 and vice versa.

The Last of US single player DLC dropping this Friday. Bout time.

Played BioShock Infinite for the second time and I still can't see why the game is so well received. The story didn't move me at all and the gameplay is pretty generic for a shooter... Still think the game is hot trash. Anyone feel the same way?

I can't get into Borderlands either.

I can't put BioShock Infinite down. I think it's a great game so far.

Borderlands 2 is a struggle for me. I keep on dying but it's ok.

Lightning Returns is getting killed in its reviews :smh:

Ive never been a sidequest person in any JRPG game ive played so i think ill pass or wait till its $20 or below to cop like i did the first two games

Looks like i have to wait on the X/X-2 remaster to get my final fantasy fix

Yo!!!!!! Outlast is no joke.. My cousin and I are playing and it is so dope!! We both screamed the first time.. A little weird but dope nonetheless

I'm not sure where to ask, and didn't think it deserved its own thread so hopefully you guys know. I just ordered a 40'' TV from Best Buy for $250, however the brand is Insignia, which I've never really heard about it. I tried to do some research but kind of came up short and just decided to buy it since it was a "Deal of the Day". If I primarily use this TV for my PS4, was this a good decision?

Its their in-house brand. It uses low end Samsung and Sony parts so they arent terrible. It'll do the trick if you arent worried about having the best picture.

If you have a better tv in your house somewhere, its noticeably inferior, but if its you main tv you should be happy with it.

Well I was trying to upgrade from my 32'' which was a Samsung. And everywhere I read says that you can't experience the great image of PS4 until you get a 32"+ TV.

I think I am just gonna stick to FF X. I have my eye on that slim Vita. Hopefully my money is right when it comes out. And hopefully it is no more than 175

If you just want a larger TV to game on, it'll do the trick. It just isn't going to have the best picture quality by any means. For the price and the size it's not bad at all, but again the picture quality is kinda ehhhhh.

I'm kind of regretting it now, lol. I wanted a bigger TV but I also wanted my PS4 games to look better. Seems like that's not the case with the Insignia though. So if I understand correctly, and I'm just talking picture quality gaming wise, 32'' Samsung>>>>40'' Insignia.

I always liked smaller TVs for gaming. My current personal gaming TV is 32" but before that I had a 24" one. I like the ability to be able to take in everything in one glance. Especially when playing competitively online. Keep the 40"+ for TV and movies.
