March: Infamous vs. Titan Fall
This should be good, and I'm not talking directly game vs. game, but what fangroup will show out more for it's fighter, Team PS4 or Team Xbox One?
You'd be insane to think Second Son will sell more than Titanfall.

I said I've never played Titanfall, so my opinion is purely based off of previews, beta videos and user opinions. If you go to the X1 thread, most of the guys there are saying that while Titanfall is most definitely legit, most of them wouldn't buy an X1 sorely for it. And even though I think it'll be trash, people are forgetting Titanfall will release on 360. That fact alone will keep the X1 from gaining significant system sales from Titanfall. In my opinion.
And Nah, if Destiny was exclusive to Xbox, my opinion most definitely wouldn't be the same. The words Bungie exclusive alone would get a million or so people to cop an X1 immediately, including myself
Biggest mistake Microsoft has made the last couple of years (besides the DRM crap) was letting Bungie go.

I enjoyed the Titanfall beta a ton, but I don't really see how Titanfall is going to replace COD or even Battlefield just yet. You don't surpass them by being on fewer platforms.
Activision and Bungie had to love the TF exclusivity as much as anybody. I mean Destiny is guaranteed to be the biggest new franchise this year, right? Xbox folk/ Halo fans are going to be eager to check it out, PlayStation owners won't have Titanfall, and Bungie is showing love to the PS3/4 with exclusive content.
COD/ BF will be on 5 platforms.
Destiny 4.
Titanfall 3.

Agreed. TitanFall and Destiny will probably duke it out for the new 'it' FPS title, and Destiny will probably win that battle quick off of being on the PS4 along with the One.

Titanfall will sell more than inFAMOUS. FPS vs Third person action adventure. The former is a lot more popular especially in NA which is the biggest market. I expect inFAMOUS to do well though.
BTW Japanese launch in 3 hours. Prepare for some downtime today if the other launches were anything to go by.

The PS4 will have a 2 million+ higher install base.
The Hype for Second Son is way more than inFAMOUS 2 when that came out and there isn't much competition.
Titanfall is on other platforms so some people will get it on PC or 360.
Titanfall is also an online only game and a new IP.
Yea it's not straightforward but I think Titanfall being a new style FPS will push it in it's favour.
This reminds me of the Uncharted vs Gears sales battle.

Gears is 22 Million as of Jan 2014 while Uncharted was 17 Million as of April 2012. But I think either UC2 or UC3 came close to Gears 2 or Gears 3 respectively. The gears games were more front loaded while Unharted games had better legs. The big sellers for Uncharted was 2 and 3 since Golden Abyss is a vita title and has been free on PS+ for a long time now while the first Uncharted didn't do as well as it's two sequels
I don't have any solid numbers though for each title but I think Blake is right or Gears is slightly in the lead.

And from an unbiased standpoint. I've played Titanfall and it's dope but I would not buy an Xbox just to play it.
