The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Sakaguchi founded Mistwalker with backing from Microsoft... I think itd be difficult for him to go back and work with SE.

Naora is doing some web-based game call Crystal Conquest. He might be down, though.

Uematsu is doing a Kickstarter game called Project Phoenix that doesnt come out til 2015... probably too busy.

This is the info from SE:

Beta Info

Phase 1: February 22nd to March 3rd.
Phase 2: April 4th to April 7th.
Japanese Standard Time assumed for all dates.
The beta will be accessible for everyone with a PS4, and directly downloadable from PlayStation Store.
There will be a character wipe after phase 1.
Players who made their character in beta phase two will be able to bring this data to the retail version.
PS3 and PC players of FFXIV will be able to transfer character data to the PS4 (please note that this is only necessary for the beta — in the retail version, all players will play on the same servers).

Might be having the same problem as this guy.

If you do “try” to play this game do all your registration through the game on the ps4. yes create the account on the ps4 even if it’s hard to see. If you use the Computer to make your Square account your out of luck!. My wife wanted to try this so she made her account on the computer then tried to use the info on the ps4 to log in and now it just ask for a promo code and ask you to close the application, with no way to get back to the screen to enter a promo code.

Lost Odyssey was the next gen Final Fantasy game that we all needed.

Its a shame that it was only on one console so everyone couldnt enjoy it

I feel so lost in the FF beta  how do I find my objectives on the map? I thought they were the little exclamation points, but when I go to one it always ends up being somebody I don't need to talk to

What I been doing after I accept a quest is, hit options>duty>journal. Then you can click on the current quest and click on the map and it shows you where it is. Also when you complete that quest and have to bring something back to someone they will have a green checkmark on the map and over their head.

Dunno if there is an easier way but it works for me.

I knew that; thats why I said hypothetically would they get together again to produce the remake. Square has some "Final Fantasy Committee" with Kitase,Toriyama,Yoshia, and Habata to ensure quality of future titles now.......but anyways Sakaguchi suppose to announce his next jrpg for Xbone sometime this week

Main quests have what looks like a gold flare around the exclamation point. Regular exclamation points are sidequests.

Looks like a new tony hawk game is in the works. I was never a fan of skate boarding or anything but the old tony hawk games were the ****.

all the pro skaters and underground. I hope it turns out like those and comes out for ps4

After getting cozy with skate, the TH games are lame to me.

Can't wait for Skate 4, if they make it.

Skate the most realistic skate boarding game to date.

Cop skate 3, it's the best of the series.

The skate franchise is one of my fav. series.

I'll have to check it out, looks like ign didnt give it as good of a review as the old tony hawk games but ill give it a try anyway

So I know I'm a little late saying this but the ending to brothers for the ps3..wow..pretty deep

PS+ for the win.

I wouldn't take ign's scores seriously, if I were you.

For reviews, gametrailers is better.

I posted that ign review, so you can see the gameplay.

And since ign's reviews are easier to find on youtube than gametrailer's

nah phil was just joking.

Just cop a 360, they're like $50, severly used.

I already have tons of PS3 games to play still, last thing I need is to re-buy a console I already had to play 2 games (I would buy Alan Wake too)

I'm trying to get towards a space where I can cop a PS4 and not have it be a dust magnet, not get further away from the goal.
