Yeah, I feel bad because if I get Dark Souls 2 then my PS4 is gonna collect more dust than it already is. But I'm already having alotta fun currently with Demon's Souls, can't imagine what the new one is gonna offer.
The new one's gonna be great. Like I said before, I can't wait to die over and over again. :pimp:

Everyone's waiting on Dark Souls 2, Titanfall, Infamous SS, MGS: GO etc. Meanwhile Im sitting here patiently waiting for FF X/X-2...

From this new trailer the graphics don't look as good as they did when the game was first revealed.

Doesn't really matter though as long as the gameplay is good. Hope they're not rushing it cuz interest is waning

man, how did the graphics drop down that hard? those are last gen graphics. what happened that they declined AFTER all this extra time put into the game

Looks to me like they might have sacrificed graphics to focus more on the ambitious gameplay mechanics so they could release it quicker.

What. The. ****.

I wasn't going to play this anyway, but damn!

Don't believe those Division screen shots guys.

Hell naw, that has to be last gen graphics. It looks terrible.

I never played Demon Souls or Dark Souls... What kind of game is it similar to? I've heard that if you die, you start all the way back to the beginning and lose all your items?

It's kind of hard to compare this series to other games. If I had to choose, I would say that it is vaguely like Dragon Age or Dragon's Dogma as it is an action RPG (more so like the ladder than the former I mentioned).
If you die, you get put back at the last bonfire (save point) you rested at, but you lose all the souls (currency) you accumulated. Not all is lost though, if you can make it back to the area where you died, you can collect your souls back from the bloodstain you left behind when you died. If you die again before you can make it back there though, you lose all the souls you had in that bloodstain. it kind of sucks when you have a significant amount of souls collected (in my case one time, 10 million) and you lose them all because of a mistimed block or jump. >:

the steep learning curve along with the high difficulty usually puts people off from this series, but man does it feel good when you actually accomplish something in game. Nothing comes easy in the Souls series.

Buncha politcal bull ****.

In reference to why Jack got let go or the whole next-gen vs current gen thing, if you don't mind elaborating?

EDIT: Damn, dudes got in responses before I finished typing, now I just look like that annoying guy that asks the same question as like two other people before me

The game was never ready and they rushed it to retail to avoid it not dropping in 2014. I can't recall clearly, but I may have posted last year that Watch Dogs was removed from the Gamestop '14 calendar altogether after the delay was announced. Ubisoft dropped the ball.

PlayStation Nation,

It is with mixed feelings that I inform you that I will be stepping down as President and CEO of SCEA effective March 31, 2014. This is a result of a mutual agreement with SCEA, and I leave knowing that the PlayStation brand has never been stronger, PlayStation 4 momentum continues to accelerate, and the future will only get brighter for our gamers.
Serving PlayStation fans for the past 19 years has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Your passion for gaming inspired me every day.

I want to thank you for constantly pushing PlayStation to deliver breakthrough gaming and entertainment experiences, and to never settle for “good enough.” The embodiment of this commitment can be found in the PS4, which has quickly become the #1 next-gen console worldwide…thanks to you.

We’ve shared many memories over the past two decades and I’ll always be grateful for your support.

Thank you,

Jack Tretton

Sony hitting all the right notes for the last 12-18 months... starting to see some mis-steps again.

I wonder where Jack will end up? Hopefully as GM for the Canucks.
