Watch Dogs looked cool at the reveal, but it looked way less interesting to me the more they showed it. Even before downgradegate.

I'm hoping for a new Mafia, The Getaway, or that it wont take forever for a next gen GTA.

Lego Marvel has to be one of the funnest games I've played in a long time. I thought it would to kiddy. But I was wrong. I love all the characters and the side missions you can do. It was the first lego game I've ever played.

Has anyone played the Lego Movie game yet? 

I think I want to play them all now lol

man dem lego joints are on point...a start really getting into them cause of my daughters... the batman, the star wars one pretty much all of them are good.... although the lego movie game is meh.... you should def go back and play some of the other games in the series... Plus many of them have good replay value seeing as you have to have certain characters in order to beat certain stages/sections of the game....(ala like marvel/star wars)

Damn. I am just at the laaaaast boss in LR:FF XIII, trying to beat the optional one before I complete the game.

Looks like I should finish just in time to start FF X HD.

Ill get LR:FF XIII and FF X in at the same time. I think Im gonna go straight to FF X, it's been so long since I've played a classic turn based RPG. FF X was my favorite PS2 game. Im also looking forward to playing and beating FF X-2, I was too young and didnt have enough patience back in 2003 when I attempted to play through this

Are you going for the plat right away? A friend of mine said it took him 2 playthroughs and about 67 hours total. I know you are a big trophy guy

Yea I am. I'll go more in depth when I throw up my thoughts, but the going through a second time is kind of a disappointment. Im at about 50 hours. If I can finish the optional boss Im having trouble with it shouldnt take me very much longer in the 2nd playthrough. You dont have to beat it a 2nd time, just do a few tasks.

What games are you guys looking forward to this year? I put together a list of titles that interest me and the ones I know Im definitely going to get this year and I realized that is most of the titles get good reviews or still hold my interest, Im going to be broke

I will definitely be picking these up sometime this year

Maintenance for about 5.5 hours. you should be able to play online if Im not mistaken, just cant access the store and a few other things

Im only skeptical because it was made for PS3/360 then recently announced it would be coming to PS4/X1, Im trying to move away from last gen with the exception of my beloved JRPGs

ALl of the games you listed, minus MLB for me. I'd add several that have just released I havent gotten yet (Tales HD, South Park, ect)

But let's be serious. It'll be FF X/X-2 HD and FF XIV for the next 2 months.

ill reserve judgement seeing as history has shown they have a nerd like bias over infatuation with this series of games... kinda like back in the day with street fighter series... and to some extent some probably still do

that's exactly who this game is for, though. You arent gaining new fans with HD remasters.

If you are expecting anything other than the 2 original games with a new coat of paint, I dont know what to tell you.

If you liked FF X/X-2 on PS2 you will probably like them on PS3, if not then you probably won't like them now (unless it was maturity thing, I experienced this with X-2). You shouldn't expect anything different other than upscaled graphics and improved audio i.e. God of War HD, Team Ico HD, Sly Cooper HD etc.

FF X received a 9.3 from IGN in 2001 I think, you shouldn't expect anything lower since it is the same game with minor improvements. I'd only expect a minor bump in the score due to upscaled graphics and audio

I'm currently playing Tales of Symphonia now. I didn't play this on GC (my first Tales of game was Vesperia) so I think I don't have that nostalgic feeling that some will have. Many say that this is the best Tales of game, I disagree. It's not a bad game at all and I would like to plat it (not really feeling 4 playthroughs tho

) but it's the least favorite of the all the Tales of games I've played. I will say this, Im about 16 hours in now and the story is beginning to pick up. Ill try to give a summary after I finish it which is hopefully this weekend or early next week.

I never understood the point in reviewing remasters. Just tell the people if there are noticeable improvements on the visual and/or audio end. Like they do with movies. If it's worth it to re-buy.

not necessarily true.... I mean look at how many ppl jumped on tomb raider for example.... for ps4 its basically and scaled up (graphic wise) same as the ps3 and pc version no different..... or hell even that commando/ikari warriors knock off that is dead (lame) nation....

Its just certain games particularly in the rpg and fighting genre that has a cache that no matter what its gonna get a top score regardless of how the game truly is just off the homerism/favoritism of the genre....

Not sure I get what you are getting at. What exactly do you expect from a "remaster"? Are you saying people were bashing Tomb Raider because it was the "same" game as its PS3 counterpart? I think the bashing came from the fact that they were charging $60. FF X/X-2 only costs you $40, or $20 seperately.
