How's ff for someone who's never touched the ff series?

X is great for that. Easy learning curve, but it can get more in-depth as you go. Easy story to follow (a little cheesey, but eh), easy to complete for an average gamer, with sidequests really adding to the difficulty, but only if you want to attempt them.

The benefit of it being out for 12 years is that any problem or issue you come up against has almost definitely been experienced and answered by someone.

As long as graphics arent a major hang-up for you (and I have seen PS3 games with worse)

So I finally beat Infamous 2 last night.

Graphics for that game last gen was pretty damn impressive.The games story was alright, but kinda hard to follow.Probably since I never finished the first Infamous game.

I checked the PS Store and the Festival Of Blood DLC for Infamous 2 is only like $2.54 tight now.

Not sure if I want to cop.Has any NT'ers played this DLC ?

If you didn't finish infamous 1, infamous 2 will be a little hard to follow.

I played and beat it. For 2.50 its absolutely worth it.

About 2 or 3 hours of gameplay, some collectibles, easy trophies, ect. All takes place in New Marais. The story is probably the best part.

Man, I love FF10, will pick up that collection. It's the last really good Final Fantasy game IMO. 

I'm pretty sure that's a inside joke poking fun of themselves. Localization does that a lot.

Wow, thanks for this! I will be taking in Black Flag as well. I just can't get into it... I:SS will be had Friday for sure then. Whether I get to MGS or not. Not gonna pass up $40 credit for Black Flag

Hmm...might be time to trade in Ghosts for I:SS at Best Buy come this week then. I was not impressed with this year's release at all. Didn't even prestige once and I normally am good for at least 5-6 prestige ranks each year.

Just checked....$34 for CoD....Think I am saying goodbye to this game, haha

Assassin's Creed Unity may be one of two Assassin's Creed games releasing this fall. Unity, according to Kotaku, will release on Xbox One and PS4, and is set at least partially in 18th century Paris. The other, codenamed Comet, will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Early screenshots obtained by Kotaku showcase Parisian locales such as Notre Dame and the Seine River, as well as a new male assassin adorned in a black uniform, brandishing a rapier, and holstering at least one pistol. Also notable is the button interface, which introduces a new "parkour up" and "parkour down" navigation system.

Previously, it was confirmed the next Assassin's Creed would not be set in Japan.

We have contacted Ubisoft for comment.

I am not giving up on AC. They could still make an amazing next gen game if they cut out the fat and polished the gameplay mechanics.

I only got about an hour last night to play FF X but I think SE did a good job with the graphics overhaul. This may be the best HD remaster I have seen. When I played GoW HD, I clearly knew that I was playing a PS2 game, same with Sly Cooper and PoP.  IMO FF X actually looks better than some PS3 games I have seen. I did notice that the lip synchronization is kind of off but thats to be expected.

Yeah AC4 was a huge letdown for me. I didnt play AC3 (deployed) but heard more negative than positive about it. I wont give up on AC just yet but I wont purchase day 1 or for full price. I really hope they focus more on SP and less on MP
