I'm so on the fence w/ Second Sons, never played the first two.

Have a PS3 and PS+? There might be a timed trial of Infamous 2 still. Could give it a shot and see if you like it.

Do you guys think they'll drop the price even lower in the next couple of months? I don't ever remember Consoles getting a significant price cut (25%?) until 2 years after it was released. (Well not including last year's Wii U)

Is Msft hurting that bad that they cut their recently released console from $500 to "$440" ($500- $60 Titanfall) to now "$390" ($450 - $60 Titanfall).

that has more to do with retailers. An official MS drop has only been on the UK. Sony has no reason to drop the price

I'd like to see a VR game/ experience that takes place in a International Space Station- type structure. It would have a highly detailed earth model and weather system. Do some space walking. I think that could be really cool.

the tech insiders have said to expect ps2/ps3 levels of graphics for the VR since the main focus will be the framerate. Think shadow of the colossus and journey and less of games on the ps4

I heard Sony is developing a game with NASA where you could walk on the moon and stuff...

They actually hinted at this before announcing Morpheus but no one knew back then.


Sony is working with NASA and one of the VR demo is having a user in mars.

I definitely expect there to be experiences like what you just described in the future.

The other day my cousin was showing me this Live from Space show on i think it was NatGeo. They were talking with the crew and showing views from the observation deck and throughout the show they were showing different locations. It made me think of the the vr headset. Seemed like it would be a cool thing to try to replicate with VR.

I just don't know if there is a "game" in that experience. Maybe some light strategy or something, but it would probably have to be spiced up a little more than just an authentic NASA space-mission-type deal.

It does if you let it. The very best ones don't tend to.

It helps if you are working toward a goal, whether that is a certain level you want to get to or an item, ect.

Alot rely on throwing repetitive battles at you so you can really hone your skills for when the difficulty starts to increase.

Just completed the main event on Mi'hen Highroad... so about 8 hours. Can only play for a couple hours at a time before my eye bothers me.

Going to try and play alot this weekend, but have family coming to stay at my house so I imagine I'll be cleaning more than playing.

Forgot how much I genuinely love this game.

It got sent out today, let me know when it arrives!

I'd be down with that, not sure if I could commit right at launch but once this backlog starts to clear up I'd be in.

I think I'd be ok, I couldn't even play my favorite game of all time without taking a break but I see where you're coming from. My bro has been playing DC Universe for almost 3 years now

He always tries to get me on there, even offers to level up my character for so I can do raids with him and his crew. Im like "nah Im good this s**t is boring as hell"

Yoshida also clarified about Driveclub in that they tried it with an early prototype but there's no time to develop the game for Morpheus.

FF XIV is the best RPG SE has made in 10 years. Simply doing the story quests and nothing else is like playing an amazing RPG that is online. You can make it through almost all of the game without even needing to talk to another player.

End Game content is when you really start doing that grind and losing track of things.
