the mlb comparison video looks close enough to me. no reason to buy ps4 if you're trying to simply update graphics imo

Yup. I feel like we've reached a point(at least for now) where graphics can't really improve to the point where it makes a difference in upgrading.

I feel the same way. Hence why I still have not purchased a ps

2k14 does look significantly better on PS4, but some of the animations are still dead *** last gen. Hopefully 2k15 will be different

Infamous: Second Son Sold Over 1 Million Copies in Nine Days
Sucker Punch’s Seattle superhero jaunt becomes fastest-selling game in series.

Global sales of Infamous: Second Son exceeded over 1 million copies within the first nine days following launch, information released by Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has revealed.

Surpassing 1 million units in just over a week makes Second Son the fastest-selling installment in the Infamous series.

Infamous: Second Son, the launch of which resulted in UK PS4 sales rocketing up 106 percent compared with the previous week, will be receiving its first proper update shortly, boasting several requested features

DriveClub will not include microtransactions

Evolution Studios' Paul Rustchynsky Tweeted a link to our Trials Frontier review, which took serious issue with the game's monetization schemes. He added that "even Trials has been infected by this plague."

But when a fan asked whether DriveClub would include such microtransactions, Rustchynsky responded in no uncertain terms.

A free version of DriveClub is planned for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The online racer was originally meant to be a PS4 launch title, but in October 2013 the game was delayed to a vague "early 2014" window. After it emerged that DriveClub's game director Col Rodgers had left Evolution, amid new reports of wider layoffs at Sony, the company broadened the DriveClub release date to TBA 2014.

A Sony spokesperson told us DriveClub is still on track:

"The progress being made on the game is spectacular, so we're looking forward to sharing an update on development, release date and videos of the game in action in the weeks to come. We thank you for your patience and assure you, it will be worth the wait."

it isn't lazy so much as it is cheap and its easy money.... my thing is and I guess its the buyer... but to rush out to buy a new system to play prior system games to which you already have the system iuno... Plus as far as dreamcast they failed for a myriad of reasons... It wasn't because of games.

Game systems is just like anything else trends of todays time... ie selling the same ole jordans over and over again... rehashing same ole movies over and over again.

I know some ppl may have not had the older system but most ppl who got a ps4 had a ps3/360...

I mean I could understand if there was added levels remixed etc... aka like what dlc's do... but and maybe this is just me... but I didn't buy a ps4 to play the games I have on ps3... I might as well play the ps3...

And then it propose the question why buy a ps4 when you have a ps3 to play ps3 games... when you can just play ps3 games... its cheaper... Tell you the truth they are really doing this because one... they know ppl just rushed out and got the system just cause just to say hey I got it first...and all these ported games is to appease ppl from buyers remorse...

And at least they could sell the games cheaper... I love tlou... but not so much that I would pay twice as much as it cost now for ps3 just to play it with a ds4 controller...(even tho the controller is the ish) But to have a system out and if you don't count ports etc... have less then 5 games in almost over half a year is kinda cheating the true diehard fans who actually support the company throughout the yrs...

I guess im just one of the few who buy a new system I expect and want new games... not repackaged games costing 60-70 bucks that I could easily walk into a used game store and get for 20 bucks or so...

Considering the fact you get the "Left Behind" DLC, you can say you are getting a "discount". Also they are supposedly including $30 worth of multiplayer DLC. Now if you have no intention of using either one then this sucks for you

Yeah, my choice was between the PS4 logo, PS emblem, and the face buttons. Any other logos not associated with the PlayStation just seems corny and forced imo.

I didn't mean 20 bucks literally...im just saying I just don't see why spend 400 bucks or so for a system to play games you could already play on the system you already got... I mean outside of I do again love the controller... nba 2k14 didn't play any better ps4/ps3.... battlefield etc.... they didn't somehow play any better... I finally got to play mgs V for ps4... graphic wise um a slight edge... but I wouldn't go out and pay 400 bucks + the cost of the game... it aint THAT big of a difference... I will be getting mlb 14 although its on both systems but thats because its a new game, But i wouldnt iuno like it seems many probably would do... like buy grand theft auto V for ps4...same exact game and all. Now if they did like a lost and the damned type of thing then yea sure...But if it was just hey lets just stick the ps4 seal on the ps3 package then I guess im in the few that would pass on that and purchase a new next gen game...or just buy the ps3 version used before shelling out 70 bucks or so just to play it with a ds4 controller.

The ps+ is good/cool...But again like I said earlier..... when its all said and done based off of future releases... over 75% of ps4 gaming roster in is first 6months/yr will be ported games... freebee games... I cant think of any system at any point where a overwhelmingly majority of its games were not new. Even in ps3/360 first 6 months/yr off release I don't even think 50% of its game releases were ps2/xbox games... ported old games...

I just would hate console gaming to turn into like nike...where you get a new game every once in a blue moon and just keep pushing old games ie like retro shoes... I would hate them to be like hell we don't even need to put out games the "thrist" and the I gotta have it first factor..."hype" of a new system is all we need...and we don't even need to put out games just a system alone is enough.. and the hype of having whats next is enough. I would dread the day that the next gen system be a bunch of short played sample ps+ games and a roster full of greatest hits.

I mean lets be honest ps4 been out almost 6 months and tbh and real it has released ONE original good game in infamous... Iuno it would to me be like an great music artist rereleasing greatest hits albums... live concert albums of the one great/good album they have...then a remastered version of said one great/good album then every once in a blue moon come out with a great/good original album.

Its iuno so backwards usually throughout history consoles have tend to release "greatest hits" and remakes of goty games towards the end of the console lifespan..not the beginning to introduce the next gen system.

I don't regret buying the system early most in part of the fact that there is great strides and coming close to a ps4 jb...and I loved the fact I could play emulators, showtime ie xbmc tv etc... all in one box... plus other great features jb brought to the ps3...

But as the system based on what it is as of now... its more or less a face lift and new way to play ps3 games... Hopefully in the closing of the yr beginning of next yr we will get new gen games to go along with the new gen console....

53 games and I highlighted the ports. 17. That's approximately 33%. So where you are dreaming up this 75% is beyond me.

I remember PS3 launch. I remember PS2 launch. I remember 360 launch. There were not 53 games for any system 6 months out.

I dont understand why you are so put off by these re-released games. How many people jumped from 360 to PS4 or PS3 to X1 and didnt have an oppurtunity to play these games? That's who they are for; as well as a select few that want to play the game again.

It was only natural developers started doing this... look at the success of PS2 collections with trophies and up-rezzed graphics. The best selling final fantasy this year is a a 10 year old game.

so infamous ss. and um... like I said graphic updates of previous gen games...

fez fez really... you include this as a "new gen" game... steamworld dig..again really.... are we gonna pretend this isn't the equivalence of a cell phone game... I mean many of the games you mentioned easily could be mixed with some cellphone/tablet quality type game...

I get a lot of younger folks like the retro whole simple game of it all ie like plants vs zombies... But really outside of infamous ss.. there really isn't a good/great new gen game in the bunch. and even with that list only about half the games are rated decent.... even if you just want to judge based on fun factor and ignore the new/next technology aspect of the system...

I mean its a cool system and all but imo id prefer more games like infamous ss... watch dogs etc... and less remakes and/or mobile/tablet quality games on a system that is suppose to be the new wave of technology.

im just saying for every "angry bird" type game or flower type, wii type of game... could we get a evil from within, infamous etc... type game a game that showcases the new technology and shows what new/next gen systems are all about.
