I havent been able to find an answer on this... Wondering if I have to jump on another sub.

I got an email with a registration code to upgrade to PS4. I also read that once you upgrade to PS4 you cannot play on PS3 any longer unless you buy another copy. My brother is actually playing now so I know if you have the PS3 version and you upgrade you can take advantage of the early access that started today.

I'm about 75 hours in and all I have left to do is finish off all the alternate bosses before i go and beat the last boss. That ancient dragon is kicking my *** constantly.

The Smelter Demon was giving me and my boys the works last night. The satisfaction of killing him after like 6 tries was amazing.

You don't count individual games, only series as exclusives.

I said uncharted in general instead of saying uncharted 1 2 and 3 then saying there's 3 good games right there. To say ni no kuni is a AAA title is a go go gadget reach. I've never even seen journey on a shelf before. Be serious. And if I was debating with myself neither you him nor the other two would take time to comment. Especially cuz nobody was talking to you. But again... I'm done.

Honestly, just keep doing it over and over and you'll eventuallyu get the perfect set up of easy balloons and birds that are easy to dodge.

You need to get at least 13-15 balloons and only get hit once or twice.

Hm... I didn't have any trouble with the Ancient Dragon. Just stayed underneath. I think I died once because I had to let my dog in mid fight.

The boss in the Undead Crypt gave me a ton of trouble. I mean, I had him beat a few times, but just made some dumb moves. He gets super agressive as you wear him down it seems and he busts out that (I think) one shot magic attack.

Smelter Dragon was tough too. I summoned for that fight.

Overall I felt there were more easy bosses, but I'm sure that's because I'm so used to the Souls gameplay. I did summon for a few bosses becuase I rented it and was plowing through the game. I'm waiting for the PC version to really dig in.

Best game I've played so far this year.

That is true, the PS4 doesn't have 6 original great games yet. But buying a PS4 at Launch is the same as buying one 2 years later. You're either going to drop $400 on it in 2013 or $400 on it in 2015. Before the Wii U and Xbox One fiascos, consoles didn't really drop in price until 2+ years after launch.

So I figured I might as well get the PS4 today and have a taste of the Next Gen, because I knew I wouldn't get able to hold out until 2015. If you could have held off until then and rocked with the previous Gen, then more power to you. But in that case, you should have just waited.

PS3 players of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn can now upgrade to the PS4 version for free.

As we reported in February, though FF14 doesn't release on PS4 until April 14, those who upgrade from the PS3 to PS4 version get a three-day jump start on everyone else.

Square Enix community project manager Hergen Thaens detailed, step-by-step, the upgrade process on the PlayStation Blog today:

First of all, log into the Mog Station using your Square Enix account, visit the account services page, and select the service account that you want to upgrade.
Once selected, you should already see a banner with the option to upgrade from PS3 to PS4. Click on it.
You’ll now be presented with the details of the upgrade campaign. I know it’s a lot of text, but please read it carefully, as it contains a lot of information about the upgrade process. When you’re done reading, confirm that you agree to the terms and click “Next.”
On this page you’ll be asked to confirm your upgrade. If you have multiple service accounts, please make absolutely sure that you’ve selected the correct service account you want to upgrade.
If all is in order, click on “Upgrade.”
Remember, once you upgrade to the PS4 version, you'll no longer be able to play the PS3 version of A Realm Reborn. Transfer between PC and console versions is not permitted.

Currently trying to one shot Dark Valefor via Zanmato (Yojimbo). I can't go into the Besiad Temple to get the Destruction Sphere, which obviously means I can't get Anima or Magus Sisters

based on current trends, why buy it now when you can just wait till ps5 comes out and they rerelease it at retail price.

ni no kuni is a ok/good game I wouldn't call it one of sonys "must have" exclusives... outside of maybe here I never really heard of anyone speak it in the same breathe as a tlou, gow, heavy rain, uncharted series...beyond two souls etc... even the infamous series...

Just thinking back about exclusives... the 360 didn't have a single great/good exclusive that I can think of that wasn't a fps....

If you want to disagree, seriously, fight me. There's no argument you can make for these not to me considered AAA exclusive games on the PS3. "I didn't like it" is not a valid excuse. These games are all commercially successful , they were innovative to the industry, and they were all very well reviewed and received numerous awards. In case you didn't know, that's what actual people in the industry as developers, artists, and reviewers use to put the "AAA" moniker on a title.
