By the time you can actually obtain a ribbon, your characters will probably be damn near maxed out
All my characters are fitted with ribbons :nerd:

Don't be shy.... I thought you could only get Dark Matter from drops off dark aeons.

the best way to farm Dark Mattersis to battle Dark Yojimbo; Yojimbo is faced five times in succession and each time has a chance of dropping Dark Matter. If the player exits the cave, or as much as enters the Blitzball menu in the middle, the battles are reset and start from the first battle all over again; this way, the player can defeat Yojimbo as many times as needed, without actually killing it.

That's how i did it in the beginning, but i became bored and hex edited my save for 99x Dark Matter

Is this game hard? The only experience I have with RPG's is FFXIII part 1.

Because I've been thinking about getting it on the Vita, is it any good on the vita?

not hard at all. one of the easiest ff games to beat for me

ffviii was a lil harder

Not hard at all and the story is pretty solid. You'll have fun and want to grind it out.

Now the real question is:

Should I cop Persona 4 (its not the Golden version is it?) on PS3?

persona 4... one of the greatest games ive played of recent years. very enjoyable.

i used to play it on my ps2 and then my ps2 started acting weird with reading discs so i used my ps3.

i miss backwards compatibility

Oh you're definitely a little farther along than I am. Dark Aeons would wipe the floor with me.

Good listen.

Yea this was a good listen.

From somebody that wasn't planning on getting a vita but ended up getting it as a gift I can say that it really is cool. But I'm having a hard time finding games that I'm really into.

The walking dead was fun on it to me. So I will probably only play it on this console now.

May is actually going to be a good month because I've never play the God of War or Sly Cooper games and both collections drop for the vita next month so I'm hype for that.

Hopefully Sony continues to support the vita for a few years and people get to see how good it

It seems to me that since the PS4 release the amount of Vita owners is increasing. I like mine I use it a lot between The Show, all the PS+ games, and remote play it's definitely worth it. My only gripe is the battery lasts like 4 hrs, but that's not a big deal for me.

He's saying that the graphical increase isn't that much to warrant upgrading.
I feel the same way. Hence why I still have not purchased a ps
Yup.
Ps4 is still dope though and would like to cop it, just ain't urgent to me right now.

Maybe it's just me, but since I got my Ps4 last month, I haven't really played it that much. Maybe it's because I have one game (Second Son). To be honest, I'm not into that game as much as I thought I would be, but overall, the fact that this system doesn't have that many games really sucks..lol! I use mainly to watch WWE network for the time being, but I know for sure when Watch Dogs release, I will be locked in playing it a lot. Only reason why I got the PS4 sooner then I expected was because of the discount I got for it and it was only 2 left in stock at the time. Am I the only one that feels this way??

I feel the same, saw it at costco for a great price and scooped it. Currently only have 2K and Im not too into it as Im not a fan of MyGM mode they put in, but am waiting on The Show to really get things going for me.

If that article about sony selling square-enix shares is true.  :wow:

Im not economist, but what benefit did Sony have from owning those shares (other than the regular benefit to owning shares)?

KH3 and FF XV are going multi-platform. Sony is hurting for money right now. Kind of makes sense.

The money they had tied up could probably be invested more beneficially in other areas.

Sony Announces New PlayStation Now-Enabled Bravia 4K TVs
Nine new TV models releasing in June.
by Evan Campbell APRIL 16, 2014

Sony Electronics detailed its new line of Bravia 4K Ultra HD television sets yesterday, revealing that PlayStation 3 games are playable on the devices via PlayStation Now.

Three new series and a total of nine models of the 4K TVs will come out in June (ranging in price from $2,100 to $25,000 USD), with the ability to stream PlayStation 3 games directly to the sets via PlayStation Now, according to Sony Electronics. Users will need to connect a Dualshock 3 controller to the 4K TVs to play titles via PlayStation Now.

“We continue to be the only company that offers a complete lineup of consumer 4K products, including TVs, front projectors, cameras, and camcorders, while also leading the industry in providing 4K content," said Mike Fasulo, president at Sony Electronics. “... We strongly believe 4K is the future for entertainment, and we remain committed to leading the 4K movement, from lens to living room, in a way that only a company like Sony can.”

In January, Sony unveiled PlayStation Now, a streaming service to play PlayStation games that's subscription-based and features online multiplayer and trophies. In March, reports suggested that games will cost around $5 and $6 USD to rent on PlayStation Now, though there wasn't any information on how long a rental may last.

IGN got hands-on time with PlayStation Now earlier this year and thought content looked good streaming, though there was some obvious compression. PlayStation Now requires a 5Mbps internet connection and is currently in beta.

The Last of Us' New DLC: 'Grounded'
New difficulty settings, new maps, new weapons, new skills, new Trophies.
by Colin Moriarty APRIL 16, 2014

Today, Naughty Dog detailed its new DLC – and likely the final DLC of any kind – for its critical and commercial smash-hit The Last of Us. It’s called the Grounded Bundle, and it’s aimed squarely at those who still play TLoU’s stellar multiplayer modes... though there’s something special in there for single-player advocates, too.

The bundle is only for those with a season pass. If you want to buy the pieces of the bundle piecemeal, you can do that, too. Prices will be detailed with each component explained below.

View media item 920509
If you’re still playing The Last of Us’ campaign, Grounded Mode is for you. It’s an all-new difficulty setting that significantly ups the ante. “The AI is relentless, smart, and brutal, and survival will be near impossible. 'Completed Grounded Mode' might be one of the most difficult Trophies you’ll ever earn,” writes Naughty Dog’s Eric Monacelli. Grounded Mode costs $4.99.

Next up are four new maps for The Last of Us’ multiplayer, collectively called Reclaimed Territories. The four maps are called Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine, and Water Tower. The Wharf is “where Joel encountered Robert” in the campaign. Capitol is “set in Boston,” while the Coal Mine is “set in Colorado.” And finally, the Water Tower is located in Lincoln, Pennsylvania, and is “perfect for close quarters melee.” Purchased alone, these maps will cost $9.99.

And then there are new guns. The Specter is a silenced assault rifle “that’s great if your style is stealth stalker.” The Double Barrel is a “classic, deadly, double-barrel shotgun.” The Enforcer is a “highly accurate pistol,” while the Launcher is “a weapon that fires small explosives.” Buy them bundled together in the Survivalist Weapon Bundle for $5.99.

Finally, there’s not one – but two – survival skill bundles. The first bundle, Situational Survival Skills, can be purchased for $3.99. It includes Agility (“climb, vault, and move while crouching faster than you could before”), Awareness (“see enemy nametags before they see yours”), Fortitude (“you’ll take longer to bleed out, crawl faster, and have more health when downed”), and Scavenger (“automatically pick up ammo and supplies”).

The second bundle is called the Professional Survival Skills bundle, and can also be purchased for $3.99. This bundle includes Gunslinger (“spawn with more pistol ammo”), Bomb Expert (“your bombs will explode more quickly”), Executioner (“earn more parts for shiv kills and special executions”), and Damage Marker (“automatically mark any enemies you hit”).

In addition, every player of The Last of Us – season pass holders or otherwise – will receive a brand-new weapon free of charge, called the Full-Auto Rifle. Naughty Dog has yet to reveal the release date of this gun -- or any of the aforementioned DLC -- but we hope to have that for you soon.

Oh, and yes, this DLC -- and the other DLC that's already out -- will be included in the PlayStation 4 iteration of The Last of Us called The Last of Us: Remastered.
