As much as I enjoy Kojima's work...I just couldn't stomach paying $30 for this, especially when there is other stuff to play. I'm sure it'll be half-price at some point between now and when the Phantom Pain drops.

Between indies and JRPGs, it has a good library of games, that's continues to get better as it expands.
I, for one, can't wait for the slim. There are 4 or 5 games that are gonna be instantly copped.

Sales mean absolutely nothing to me, when I'm judging if something is good or not.

I would never say sales aren't important, because without a sufficient install base, you'll never get devs to provide software.
But outside of assuring that the system gets games, I could care less about sales.
And Vita has games in spades.
The catalog is there. It just doesn't have a bonafide system-seller to entice the masses.
Their loss I suppose.

If you really just use sales to determine if a console is good, I really don't know what to say. That's like being a bandwagon console fan, which I never heard before now. To each their own.

Vita is dead in the water.
It's just like the PSP, it just lost steam. I never undstood why Sony continues these portables when smartphones are the new gaming rage. I understand there is a market for them but it's not quite what it use to be, also mobile games are cheaper and more desirable at this point. You can get them for really cheap and when it's all said and done you can still text, call, browse the web.
Vita will always be a niche device to me, and sales will tell if this device has a long life or gets killed off. I'm positive if Vita sales continue to die, this will be Sony last handheld.

Yup. If only sony had their own version of pokemon. A game where children and adult can get into. But no, they're being stubborn by sticking to meh series' like UC, GOW, MGS....
A ff7 remake vita exclusive would be bananas. I'm sure many ex gamers would crawl out of retirement.
Who knows maybe ps now will work on vita so people might like the bigger game library....don't think I've ever seen sum1 play a vita tho.

I doubt you are gonna find many displeased gamers among Vita owners. Now, Sony just has to convert more gamers to Vita owners.

Resident Evil just doesn't have the juice for me anymore. I'll likely pick it up but I'm not expecting greatness.

I like the action/adventure resident evils. I found RE6 to be an excellent game. The graphics were stunning and the controls were awesome. I didn't like how some animations were basically mini cutscenes, such as climbing up a ladder, rolling on the ground, etc.
The OST was the strongest of the RE games that I've played (4?-6).
main menu theme
Kith and Kin
The voice acting was excellent as well. Troy Baker, Matthew Mercer, and Roger Smith being the strongest.
I didn't give a .... about Ada's campaign though.
That part was horrible.
Lastly, I felt that it held up against most action/adventure movies.

Capcom said they will go back to their survival horror roots. I don't fully believe them but we will see. If they can atleast go bzck to something similar to 4, imo, i think it would be great.
They also said if fans really wanted a RE2 remake, they'd do it. Imagine that on the ps4/x1 :x
