The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

So psn is down for maintenance right now, right? Trying to log onto their web store through my phone but it's not working
yup, its down.

"The PSN will be down for at least 6 hours on April 21st. The maintenance happens from 9:50AM to 3:50 PM Pacific Time, or 12:50pm to 6:50pm Eastern Time. Don’t be alarmed if you cannot log in to the PSN or PlayStation Store today."

Might go ahead and see what the fuss is about then

after watching reviews about Infamous, a lot of people are saying that the story is short.

Might have to just rent this game.

I'm excited for Watch Dogs though.
I think this game is a lot longer than 10 hours.  It took me awhile to beat it.  Because certain tasks aren't available until you clear tasks to a certain percentage.

plus you can be good or bad in this game. So basically you would have to go back and beat it twice.

It's definitely a solid game worth playing.

Just in case anybody was interested Tales of Hearts R for the Vita will be a GameStop exclusive. That said, it'd probably be wise to pre-order to avoid paying resell prices. GameStop jacked up the prices on Xenoblade Chronicles and Metroid Prime Trilogy, which I know at least one of them (Xenoblade Chronicles) were GameStop exclusives .

Star Wars Co-Writer Todd Stashwick 'Recast' in Uncharted PS4
Another important Uncharted player is out at Naughty Dog.
by Mitch Dyer APRIL 21, 2014

Writer/actor Todd Stashwick, the voice of the Uncharted PS4 teaser trailer, is no longer involved in Naughty Dog’s Uncharted project. He had been involved with the game for at least six months.

“They chose to recast my role,” Stashwick told IGN. We've contacted Sony for additional information.

Visceral Games recently hired Stashwick as co-writer on its unannounced Star Wars project, which ex-Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig is directing.

Stashwick’s removal from Uncharted PS4 follows both Amy Hennig’s and game director Justin Richmond’s unexpected departures from Naughty Dog. Earlier today, former Naughty Dog lead artist Nate Wells announced his employment at Giant Sparrow, developer of The Unfinished Swan.

apparently crash and spyro games can be played on vita now. Guys over at Gaf claim all PS1 and PSP PSN games now work with vita.

Finally playing crash and spyro on my vita!

I hope things aren't as bad as they seem at Naughty Dog... We need them! :smh:
Yeah I'm sort of worried about uncharted 4 hearing about all these people leaving. Idk if this is common or not for people to go to other devs with such a huge game coming soon
