The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

picked up Tomb Raider Definitive Edition from target this weekend off the clearance rack for like $20 after a $10 instant gc for buying 2 boxes of diapers. Gonna play through it again even tho I beat it on the PS3.

also picking up watch dogs tonight. hope its a game I like. reviews sound mixed right now.

I was surprised at the amount of people on my friends list playing Watch Dogs. Hopefully it'll go on sale soon. I'm waiting to see what the mulitplayer is like.
it kinda is meh.... You have the option of competing ie like old school 007 games... but instead you hack each other and try to find each other in the city. You got team mode to which you try to go out and find a hidden file/cpu chip etc.... and take it back to your hideout. You can go into another persons game and activate hacks (to me its trolling but u digress) like if they are playing you can like throw up roadblocks.... activate traffic lights etc..

Then its the interactive mode via using your smartphone/tablet to which i havent tried yet... im actually bout to check the appstore/google play to see if its available.

Shut the **** up :rolleyes

System is a giant paperweight with nothing offer since it's release and people aren't supposed to be upset? Watch Dogs was delayed and the general consensus is that it's all fluff no filler. Division was supposed to drop this year too and it's pushed back. What's the incentive of owning a PS4 right now?

Really trying to get into Lightning Returns. I have never been so disappointed in a FF game. Granted I've only finished the first main quest, I just don't see how with each sequel continues to get worse.

I have really been enjoying Wolfenstein: The New Order. I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan of FPS but can deal without mulitplayer. Hopefully by this weekend, Ill have got the platinum and can start back on LR:FF.

Did The Division ever have an actual release window? I just remember the reveal trailer and everyone outside of Ubisoft saying late 2014.

Watch Dogs delay was announced before the PS4 dropped and The Order wasn't suppose to drop until Fall 2014 to begin with. Were there other PS4 games that sparked in your interest? If not, then why buy a PS4 when there are no games you want?

lol i just googled FFXV and saw that they just confirmed it to release on PC as well. Release dates will be announced at E3 too !
Let's just hope they stay true to the release date. I'll lose all faith if they have even just one delay.

I'm really contemplating selling my PS4 and picking one up in September for Destiny. Looks like Watch Dogs is another pass..... meh.

Destiny comes out in less than 4 months, might as well hold on to that PS4

At least they didn't wait until November to announce this delay. The Order: 1886 is one of the games I'm most excited for, but with Destiny in September and the games releasing in October/November, that's a lot money, so I was going to have to pick and choose anyway.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Batman: Arkham Knight, Alien: Isolation, Evolve, PlanetSide 2, LEGO Batman 3, The Evil Within, and I actually might buy this new Call of Duty depending on if this new exo-suit stuff applies to multi-player. That's not even including the sports games that come around that time too.

EDIT: Didn't even know The Evil Within was supposed to drop in August. I'm out of the loop.

Dang The Order delayed :frown: really liking forward to that one but I don't mind I have a large backlog to get through in the meantime. And for the one who asked if The Division had a time window for launch I think it was for Fall 2014 but nothing was ever really set in stone

That's what I figured. I just didn't see why people were getting upset for this particular when there was never a release date set.

Im not arguing with you on that. I enjoy alot of the indy titles, but to people looking for next-gen AAA stuff, its barren. But being mad at a company for holding a product over quality assurance is not going to help either.

If I were you, I'd watch E3. If nothing is announced, sell it ASAP, get a decent return, than think about buying it later on when there are titles.

Anyone else feel like Destiny gonna be a first person Warframe?  I wanna play it, but i dont wanna do tedious missions and **** 300x to have decent gear...

Edit: i also don't want to play WarFrame

Might be alone in this but I would like it to be just like halo, just different creatures, weapons, world

But after watching the trailer with gameplay, it does look like a warframe, and warframe got old QUICK

Thats weird... I figured you'd enjoy it. I liked it quite a bit. All I'd say is give it a little more time, let the world open up a bit and still see if you feel the same.

Once I got into hunting creatures, I enjoyed it.
