The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Why haven't there been more attempts at making Friday The 13th games?

A modern survival horror game based on that could be incredible...no guns until the very end or something like that.

And...like...if Jason got to you and you were unable to slow/distract/escape from him it could have death cut scenes like Tomb Raider...stuff that looks straight from one of the movies.

Sorry...I have a little buzz and I'm rambling. I just thought I would share.

Been playing Battlefield Hardline Beta
eek.gif

This game is gonna be worth every penny. Feels like the movie Heat or Dead Presidents when they tryna get  away with money.

Non stop action, I'd cop at the midnight release its  that good.

How many players on each side for BFH?
Either 15 vs 15 or 20 vs 20  can't remember.  The map is big but the way they placed everything you are right in the action no matter what.

You rotate as cops or bank robbers

What was everybody game of E3?

Shooter
Racing
RPG / MMO
Action Adventure
Sports
Fighter
Trailer

For me,

1. The Division
2. Driveclub
3. Destiny
4. No Man Sky
5. FIFA15
6. Mortal Kombat X
6. Uncharted 4

All three Uncharted games on one disc with all the multiplayer maps from 2 and 3. :pimp:

Honestly I only played the multiplayer a handful of times but I'd be fine with just the single player.

Multiplayer was buns. It would get any PT from me.

I was apprehensive at first, but in my opinion, it's one of the most underrated multiplayer games. I used to play a lot of Plunder. It's pretty fun. They took the single player and let you do all of that in multiplayer arenas. The game isn't camper friendly. You're vulnerable from almost every angle. People can climb up behind you and throw you over the edge without you knowing.

Last time I played it there was still a decent amount of people playing. They also made the multiplayer and DLC maps from U3 free-to-play.

Hardline isn't bad. It's kind of fun. I've been enjoying the Blood Money mode. I don't know if I'm going to buy it though. It's got a lot of bugs. I respawned in a match and had a dark grey transparent box with lines cover most of my screen. Plus I'm more excited for games like Destiny and Evolve.

Yeah I used to love the multiplayer in U2 while I played it. And U3 had a good one too. The co-op games they had in it were fun too if everyone cooperated with each other

Hmm might give fb a shot seems like hard line is looking more promising than bf4.. Hope I don't get raped no lube by these bastards again

yeah, im not ready to recommit to battlefield again just yet.  I loved 1942 and BF2 on PC.  BFH comes out in Oct, pretty sure i'll still be in Destiny, assuming its not delayed.

Battlefield looms mehish. Will wait until its released and reviews are up before I decide if I should pick it up.

do these play through through the TV as well? been debating picking these up but thatd be dope for netflixing at night :smokin

Don't know about the tv but I know if you're using your ps4 to watch Netflix you can run all sound through headphones and watch it that way.

Yea, what he said. If you wanna play stuff from the tv then you want the Sony Pulse Elite joint. That one can play wirelessly from anything with a headphone jack. I just bought them this past Sunday. Love them.

Polyphony Digital Inc. (PDI) and FIA to Form Long-term Partnership

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the creators of the highly-acclaimed Gran Turismo[emoji]174[/emoji] series, Polyphony Digital Inc. (PDI), today announced exciting plans for a long-term innovative partnership. The FIA’s role as the governing body of motor sport worldwide, and the representative of almost 80 million road and track users from 141 countries on five continents, will help grow the direct relationship between the millions of fans of Gran Turismo and the real-world of motor sport.

To mark the start of this collaboration, Gran Turismo[emoji]174[/emoji]6 will become the first-ever video game to feature FIA-certified content. Gran Turismo 6 for PlayStation[emoji]174[/emoji]3, which launched late last year, has been granted an FIA certification for four of the game’s world-famous tracks. The virtual circuits in Gran Turismo have been recreated in intricate detail. The track inspection for each was conducted by FIA officials who visited PDI’s development studio in Tokyo, where Gran Turismo 6 track models were accurately compared to FIA standards. Other tracks included in Gran Turismo 6 will be subject to inspection in order to obtain certification by the FIA in the near future.

As a second key element of the partnership, FIA & PDI plan to launch an official FIA Online Championship in 2015 with the intention of offering the large number of Gran Turismo players and motor sport fans the opportunity to engage with real motor sport.

Jean Todt, President of the FIA said: “This innovative new partnership will ensure that millions of Gran Turismo and motor sport fans can race on even more detailed tracks at home. The Gran Turismo series has played an important role in helping to attract a new fan base to motor sport. With the input of FIA in the development of the upcoming FIA Online Championship, Gran Turismo 6 will now offer an experience even closer to the real world of motor sport. We are also excited to be working closely with Polyphony Digital and Sony Computer Entertainment in the future to find new ways to continue to make motor sport more accessible to millions of fans that share a passion for racing.”
