No it's not. That's how digital copies work.

Yeah if you are buying something over PSN or downloading a free gram because of PS+ I would guess that there must be a way of verifying you can play the game and that is through going PSN so if PSN it does make sense

But look at the post under yours. He said it's got nothing to do with being digital. And you said that's how they work as if not being able to play an offline game without being signed online is acceptable. That's like not being able to drive a car unless it's got nos (nos being the Internet) in it. I own it, whether or not I have Internet shouldn't effect it

So, I'm thinking about buying a vita this week. Best buy has a Borderlands 2 bundle for $199. I loved Borderlands 1 but never played the sequel. One concern I have though is the memory card. I keep hearing you guys complain about it but does it matter if I'm going to be using it primarily for remote play?

I doubt it. When the network went down for 3 months that was a security breach. They hold to overhaul everything, part of the wait time was the rebuilding process. This is just flooding. wouldn't be surprised if this is handled by tuesday/wednesday

When did ffxv get pushed back to? I missed the news but from reading posts in assuming that's what happened.

No FFXV release date, so it can't really get pushed back.

A key staffer has left from what reports are saying. Sucks, but I am hoping nothing is really seriously effected.

30 days of PS Plus but it was a very long time. Probably won't get anything this time.

It's not as bad as he is trying to make it seem. Nothing is breached or being taken. It's just a DDoS attack

There is a flood of traffic being sent to the Amazon servers sony uses, basically crashing everything.

regardless no one is immune even MS there is no defense for this. You can make it harder but you cant prevent it

They could make boatloads of money. They presumably live regular lives, no one knows who they are so why not go and apply and say "Hey guys, check this out. I can stop it though and I think we could make this better by doing this, this and this"

A month of PS+ and 2 free PS3 games out of a choice of 5 or 6. I can't really remember. WipEout HD, Infamous, and LittleBigPlanet were some options IIRC.
