why do people buy both systems? always seemed weird to me...they generally have the same games for both systems

Not really. This year alone the PS3 has had a bunch of exclusives that weren't for 360 like Sly Cooper 4, God of War: Ascension, MLB: The Show, Ni No Kuni, and The Last of Us, with more exclusives still coming later in the year like Puppeteer, Gran Turismo 6, Beyond: Two Souls, and a new Ratchet & Clank.

Sony has a lot of development studios all over the world that make exclusive games for them. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Xbox One's third party exclusives ended up on the PS4 like the 360 ones ended up on PS3. Like if a year from now, EA and Capcom released Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 on the PS4.

I am 100% positive that Dead Rising 3 will be on ps4.

Capcom too smart to miss out on that ps4 money.

Unless m$ paid them a crap load of money.

Well, Capcom has stated that without Microsoft, there would be no DR3. They have said that it is in development for PC, but nothing for PS4 is in the plans.

In that case, maybe not.

I can already tell that dr3 is going to suck.

I liked dr2, but the gameplay mechanics were horrible. It was one of those waste your time games.

From the gameplay vids I've seen of dr3, they gamplay mechanics of it will suck as well.

There will be a lot of gamers thinking they can do the same but if you're good at what you do I think it can work.

They dont own the dead rising franchise i dont think. Just 3. Like you could see dead rising 4 on the PS4.

But MS funded dr3, ryse, quantum break etc. So you may see them as windows live games, but most likely on the one

How is putting discs in a gaming console with a disc loading drive an example of being a caveman?

You're wasting hd space, which is obviously the drawback of disc free gaming.

I'd rather save my hd space than the HOURS oh sorry seconds that it takes me to open my cd case to insert the disc into my console.

Also your example only applies to people who get their games day one, which I for the most part don't.
