So I've been reading the response to Destiny on the interwebs and I'm confused.

What's changed from the alpha, beta and open beta till now. It's currently scoring lower than expected reviews.

It sounds like the majority of people who bought the game like it but the really hardcore were expecting more from what I gather?

Is the PS logo on it gold?

I think it's silver so it just reflecting of it's surroundings

I feel that destiny had this grandiose design going in working within the story and gameplay but in hand it kinda feels underwhelming imo it's still fun but I felt that there would be more to the game

The "hardcore" will be rolling out next week, between the raids, extra content, the weekly heroid strikes, salvage, and possibly additional online fps game types this game will be good, i like the way bungie is going to roll out all the good stuff periodically instead of dropping it all at once

Sony Cancels Summer Lesson Showing at TGS 2014

In early September 2014 Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) revealed that a new demo experience for its Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4 named Summer Lesson. Announced at the company’s pre-Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2014 press conference, the demo was developed by Katsuhiro Harada of Tekken fame and was set in the dorm room of a young Japanese school girl, whom players could interact with. The demo was originally meant to be on display at TGS itself this week from 18th – 21st September, but SCE has recently confirmed that will no longer be the case.





The company announced that it would not be showing Summer Lesson anymore via its TGS 2014 website. It reasoned that it might not be able to cope with demand for the demo at the its show floor booth, although Project Morpheus itself will will be shown. Summer Lesson has come under fire since its reveal with claims of sexism, as players could seemingly take the chance to glare at the school girl as she was placed in provocative positions. SCE didn’t reference these complaints in its cancellation announcement.





SCE did however state that is was looking into revealing Summer Lesson at another time and venue, though didn’t confirm any dates or further details for now. VRFocus will continue to follow Summer Lesson’s progress, reporting back with any updates on its future.

That was just Sony's pre TGS press conference.

The actual event itself is on the 18th to 21st unlike E3 where their press conference is a day before the show floor opens.

Man let's be serious, Destiny is being toted as a MMO FPS. Think of it like WoW. It will get updated with new stuff all the time. I'm finally at lvl 20 and I still love this game. I'm good til the next game that's not COD drops

Finally got my PS4 yesterday with the Gamestop deal since it expires today. Just got Madden so far but will probably get Destiny and 2k15 in the near future.
