So next month we get the regualr 2 free games and driveclub with PS+ making it a total of 3. Looking good so far Sony.

Im not into shooters really, but you cant tell with me already playing Destiny continuously, and anticipating Borderlands Pre-Sequel and Evolve.

Borderlands and 2K next month, then Far Cry 4 and maybe GTAV for November ....im not sure whats releasing in December but Evolve is not until February.

Man have you checked out the 2K15 thread? ....well apparantly alot of issues have been fixed and they brought back alot of modes that I enjoyed in the past. Im sure there will still be bugs and exploits, but im very excited for it this year. I believe I was more excited for 2K14 more b/c it was the first next gen basketball game but it was ahuge disappointed and felt more rushed than Madden from last year.

yeah im in there. I like what they are "saying" but I have to play it first. MyGM was sooooo broken last year. Not being able to advance in playoffs, team not making money, performance not mattering for ticket sales, reputation not mattering to fans, owners, or press, I mean the list can go on for days lol. My career was kind of cool with the cutscenes but nothing that held me. Also, the servers mannnnnn and the delay in shots was crazy. You take a week learning all your favorite players shots and online the release is totally different so you spend the forst half of the game re learning shot release. Man I hope a lot of it is fixed.

Has there been any significant news regarding 2K15? I checked the thread but didn't see anything new. I just want good, playable servers and Association mode that allows me to control a team without cut scenes and all that other RPG stuff. MyCrew would be nice but I know that's not going to happen

Yea I didn't mind the Jackson Ellis rivalry, but I was clearly better than him, so they should have given me a different rival ...now I didn't like those cut scenes at all in MyCareer.

The MyGM mode on my PS4 worked fine ...I was always able to make the playoff and even advanced and won it all. Alll the other stuff in MyGM you mentioned was dead on, it like how can you continue to win rings but the team generated no revenue for doing so, also I was constantly in the red no matter how much I won games.

Microsoft to buy Minecraft maker Mojang for $2.5 billion

(Reuters) - Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) said on Monday it has agreed to acquire Stockholm-based games developer Mojang and the company's wildly popular Minecraft video game franchise for $2.5 billion (1.54 billion pounds).

Microsoft said on Monday it plans to continue to make Minecraft available across all the platforms on which it is available today: PC, iOS, Android, Xbox and PlayStation.

Having it on more systems = maximize the profits. i understand if they cut it off Sony , but that game alone wouldnt make people buy a xbox 9 out of 10 times

smart move by them. Just last year ol boy made 500M revenue just off the franchise. The game is wayyyyyyyyy bigger than we think lol

I played the demo and that game was boring as hell imo

 it's just hard for me to get into those types of games now.

I do remember playing SimCity on SNES back in the day tho

Yup. Minecraft merchandise pulled in 200 million last year. . And that's without a tv show or movie etc.Now imagine if MS markets it like they do their other stuff

It isn't as much about the console game as it is about mobile gaming and merchandise

Looks like they did, obviously they will also get all future games from them including a potential Minecraft 2.

Only time will tell if it's a worthy purchase. I think it's too much money and it's too late but if you look sales charts minecraft is just trucking on.

I've been hearing good things about the GTA V trailer. I keep forgetting to watch it. Have they said anything about Heists? That was one of the things I was looking forward to the most before it released on PS3. I don't want to buy this again but a lot of the homies will be on, so I may just take one for the team

He hasn't really been doing anything with mojang for a while( on the technical side. He's the face of it yeah). The lead designer and most of the team who have been updating minecraft for the past couple of years are still there.

I liked GTAV, but the missions in the campaign became a tedious chore, and online multi player was chaotic but boring if that's makes any sense at all ...all I had was dudes tryna murk or chase me in those streets, when I wasn't getting murked, I couldn't find anything to do.

I'm not so sure I even wanna re buy for next gen, and Far Cry 4 come out at the same time ....between now and black Friday I should have plenty to play.
