The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Wait...so, when you say on-disc DLC...you mean, it's content that essentially was completed when game released but was intentionally locked behind a paywall at that time to milk money out of players later?
Yes. Game companies like Capcom are known for this.

Isn't this add on DLC included in digital guardian, and limited edition versions? ...or is this DLC something totally different?

I traded in MLB 14 the show to Best Buy for $29 yesterday. It was worth $25 but got another $2 for having gamers club unlocked and another $2 for being a my best buy rewards member.

I stopped by Gamestop first and it was worth $22 there.

Best Buy has really been my spot for trading in and buying in games.

The give the most in trade ins and a lot of games I pre order and buy from them I get $10 rewards zone certs for each game.

Truth. They gave me over $50 for fifa and Madden about a month ago.

The Digital Guardian and Limited Edition comes with the Expansion pass which allows you to access the DLC when it releases in the future. The discussion here is whether or not the DLC content is already available on the disc, and they just blocked it completely off. People take this as Bungie cutting the content short purposely to make people pay more for it in the future. DLC is usually additional content that is downloaded to add on to the experience, but in reality, the content was already given to us just not accessible.

I'm so tired I felt like that made no sense but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

Oh ok I totally understand now, I don't feel cheated bc I always knew about this content but didn't preorder bc I missed out on the LE version ...although the way it's been released it kinda shady.

From my understanding you can qualify for up to 5 gift cards, I haven't actually tried this for myself though. Dell will not charge your card until the item is about to ship, again I haven't actually done this myself, it's just what I read.
