One of the recurring questions we keep seeing is about the scale of the PlayStation Plus Edition. I said this a couple years ago but it still makes me chuckle when I think about how some of you guys would say Xbox achievements were dumb. Now the same people are buying games literally just to get more trophies

I can't stand this trophy ********. I wish there were an option to turn it out (is there?

) I probably have a total of 20 trophies and I damn sure don't have any gold or platinum or whatever the best trophy is

I'm hoping for a buy 2 get 1 free promo from a retailer so I can get 2k, fifa and wwe.

Nope.

Trophy capabilities came through a system update after the PS3's launch.

Not in the beginning. Trophies were $ony's response to m$'s superior achievement system.

Not initially. The first wave of games didnt. It was added to some and made a standard for all the games after some time.

I'm not a fan of achievements that make you replay an entire game for a measly trophy. I like trophies that are fun to get or that you weren't consciously trying to get.

Back when cod4 was that game, I remember shooting all those tvs with the bad guy's face on it.

I did just cause, then I got an achievement.

I'd like to see more of those rather than, "replay entire the game with a different character" type achievements.

so me and my homie read up a little on the gamesharing. Figured we would give it a try and just go half on some of the new games.

how exactly does that work?

He has a psn + acct already signed in on my ps4. 

Pretty much do I buy the game with his acct on my ps4? So he can download it on his ps4 at home and be able to play..

And then when I sign in I'd still be able to open and play that game with my acct? Since it was originally purchased on my ps4 wit his acct?

Not sure if i'm making sense. lol.

Console #2 - My Friend's console 1) Create user ID with your name 2) Login to PSN with my PSN information 3) Activate as your primary PS4 4) he stays signed in and he will start downloading your games and he can sign back in under his account.

I use to love collecting achievements but now it seems watered down to me. I think Xbox One kind of killed it. With the addition of DLC it seems like the standard is 2000GS. Even the arcade games get up to 1000GS now. Back in the day that standard 1000GS was special imo.

Just did this with my brother a few days ago. Got his digital copy of Destiny and took mine to GS and got $43.50 for it

Is it too late to do this if I already set up my account as primary? Or if my friend did that already?

Beginning on October 8.

BY LUKE KARMALISony has revealed the content set to arrive as part of October's PS Plus subscriber rewards for both Europe and North America.

As this mark months the long-awaited release of Driveclub, it'll be available to PS Plus owners with 11 tracks and 10 cars unlocked should you choose not to purchase the full game. Alongside this, Dust: An Elysian Tail and the unique platformer Spelunky will be available for next-gen console owners.

PS3 owners meanwhile get to see how it all began with the critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum, or mix it up with Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. Last but not least, Vita owners will have the option to pick up the brand new arcade game Pix the Cat, which also has PS4 and PS Vita Cross Buy support, or turn-based RPG Rainbow moon, which has Cross Buy for Vita and PS3.
