The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Here is what Sony chat said:

You'll be receiving an e-mail confirmation with the service and shipping instructions within 24 hours.

Once the service center receives the controller it will take from 7 to 10 business in order to receive the controller back.

I hate to send in my controller, but as long as they fix it for free.

Can you link me to where you chat with Sony. My launch controller is busted and I want to see if I can replace it. I think you have up to a year, right?

The other day I was just thinking "I wish sony have a chat option b/c I don't have time to be on the phone e for hours" ...credit to iYen iYen Repped homie

The address they gave me to send in my DS4 is Laredo TX, so I'm hoping that mean I can get the controller back sooner than later since I'm also in TX.

If people can't tell the difference between 900 p and 1080p why do they bother with 1080p? Why aren't there 900p Tv's?

That's total BS.

I can def tell playing BF4. It looks blurrier than any of the other ps4 games I've played.

I feared this **** would happen back when we learned the power difference of the two consoles and now it's happening. Hopefully the backlash prevents this **** from continuing.

Ubisoft is garbage. Haven't bough a game from them in years, if ever.

Agreed. Played I:SS on my boy's 1080i tv, could see the difference right away from playing it on my 1080p tv.

Gonna try Amazon to get me a new DS4.  Left thumb stick is dunzo!  Didnt get a PS4 at launch, but i got that QS amazon reup a week or two after.

It's like difference in FPS. Most people either don't think they can tell the difference or don't care about the difference (like me) but when it's right there in your face the difference is obvious.

Internet is having a field day with this.

i spent 5 coins for it. The case was broken though. Check out the buy/sell forum on 99gamers. I've bought a bunch of blurays off of there. Like Dexter, Breaking Bad, Fargo, etc.

yea mine is virtually flawless. gonna add some new games this weekend. theyve been moving at a quick rate.

i was wondering about that. how do you set up a listing for stuff like that? or accessories like remotes and stuff? searched the forums and saw some good stuff, but i dont know how that works since it uses the coin system.
check out the sell forum on there. Make a thread stating what you want to sell, then list your price. One a deal has been made, just list it as a game. Even though it's not a game. For instance, i bought rise of the planet of the apes. The seller just listed it as the planet of the apes ps1 game. If it's something simple like that, just list it as a game wih a similar title. If it's assessories, you can list it as anything, but just write in the game description what it actually is. Also, state in the description that the product you listed has been reserved, so another seller doesn't accidently buy it.

false
just copy it as a HTML and unclick the import images box

A gif uploaded to nt has an image size limit of 5mb. Imgbox.com's gif size limit is 10mb. Minus.com's gif size limit is 10mb, if you pay.

Copy.com's limit is pretty much unlimited. It can handle 30-50mb(size of some youtube vids) no problem.

Chatted with a couple Sony reps about my 2 DS4s with busted thumbsticks. They told me I'd have to pay to ship them back, asked to talk to their supervisor and getting either a free game or PSN credit out of it.

The gif you posted isn't hosted on nt. Pix/gifs uploaded to nt appear on that top right hand album. The gif you posted is hosted by minus.com. Which means you can post it to nt. If you download that gif to your comp, you will not be able to upload it to nt.

I'm optimistic about this system update coming within the next week or two. PSTV is about to drop and they'll have to push a update to get remote play on the dashboard or risk launching a crippled product. Actually, I wouldn't put it past sony to do that.
