The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Well I know 3 of the them; Steamworld Dig, Binding of Issac and Escape Plan. I was really hoping that we would  get Knack.

I was really hoping that we would  get Knack.

I've seen Knack for $15-$20 brand new at some retailers in recent history. I bought it full retail at launch and played through it 3 times. Got all the collectibles and different Knack's and beat it on very hard. No regrets. To me it's a solid 7.5. I think it's worth a purchase at $20. It'll probably be dirt cheap around Black Friday.

It's a lot more challenging than it looks and it's overly simple with it's mechanics, but my only real gripe is the randomness of the chest payouts and the deaths from cheap A.I. Still, there's a lot they can change, fix, and expand upon if they make a sequel.

WHATS WITH ALL THESE INDIES? WHY HAVENT THEY RELEASED UNCHARTED 4 AND PUT IT ON PS+ FOR FREE YET.
They have to put up DRIVECLUB first

Then we'll get Uncharted 4

I bought it for my son as a Christmas present for $20 but I was gonna take it to Wal Mart if it would've dropped for PS+

More of the same, but looks to take some inspiration from Titanfall.

Probably be really good, people will hate it because it's Call of Duty, MP will be fun for a bit and then get stale.
Yea that's how I feel. Luckily I have Halo MCC to switch to when I get fatigued with CoD. Not to mention BF Hardline drops Mar 17, 2015 so I may jump on that pending reviews and servers being stable and the game not broken. I know you will not be on any BF game anytime soon

Heads up, just got Battlefield 4 brand new from Toys R Us for $20. I was also carded because it was a rated M game... I was like son, that question would have been valid for me a decade ago.

Walmart - 50% Extra Game Trade Credit When You Purchase Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare OR 100% Extra When Buying a PS4 on 11/3 or 11/4

"As part of Walmart's Call of Duty festivities, trade-ins will be worth 50% additional credit Nov. 3-4 if traded in for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare or for a new PlayStation 4."

It would take a LOT of convincing. Im terrified they'll ruin Battlefront now, too.

I got an email from Best Buy about a Holiday shooping event on Nov 8. 1PM-4PM. Select stores will selling Knack, InFamous: Second Son, Killzone and MLB: The Show 14 for $24.99. Second Son is worth it. I've seen Killzone and Knack both for $19.99 at times so I'd probably wait til Black Friday for those two. MLB seems like a good pick up if you are into MLB.

I actually had forgot about Battlefront until a few days ago. I read that it was suppose to release in Summer 2015. I was somewhat surprised because we haven't really seen anything from it. I was never really into Star Wars so I'm not as excited as some others, I did beat Force Unleashed though

As far as BFH , I'll just wait until a month or so, no way I'm going to play it seeing as how it releases the same day as Type-0

and we're getting the demo for XV. I spent hours playing FF XII's demo back in 06

I saw something that said SW:Battlefront will be a holiday 2015 game.

Type-0 is probably my most anticipated game. As many games as there are this holiday, I'm content to just rock Destiny and some backlogs of PS3 titles.

Witcher 3 and Dragon Age are on my radar, though.

Sony drops big Uncharted PS4 re-release hint
Some are chalking this up as a mistake. We’re not quite as convinced.

In a blog post detailing the new YouTube sharing functionality now available on PS4 as part of the 2.00 firmware update, Sony used a screenshot showing someone uploading an Uncharted 3 clip.

Uncharted 3 is only available on PS3, of course.

Yes, it’s possible that the PS4 could be playing the game on the PlayStation Now streaming service but considering that rumours of an Uncharted Collection release for PS4 have been doing the rounds for some time, that seems like the safe bet.

Could Uncharted Collection release alongside Uncharted 4 next year? It would certainly be consistent with Sony’s existing strategy.

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune debuted on PS3 in 2007 and was an instant critical hit. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves followed in 2009 and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 2011. Vita spin-off Golden Abyss was released in 2012.

The series’ commercial performance has been slower to catch on, although each entry has enjoyed increased success.
