The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I notice v2.01 FINALLY brought the feature to store WiFi. Your phone has it, your laptop has it, hell even your smart watch too. So why didn't the PS4?! I would travel from my house to my mom, and would to constantly put in the password, frustrating. Now with 2.01, it auto remember my password when I went back home, took you waaaaay to long Sony :smh:

my boys copy of cod:aw came with a blank dvd-r from the target deal  it was brand new and sealed. we'll see if he can exchange it tomorrow. anyone have that happen?

So I just went to Walmart to return games with no receipt. They said since its from the electronic dept, they need a receipt.

Had a great story too, came in there with a Walmart bag, when they asked what was wrong, I told them my girl bought me these games, but she didn't know I already bought them digitally. Even said the receipt should be in the bag...

I think it was BC I came in there 2 minutes b4 cust servuce closed. Will try another store, early morning (when the old ppl are working cust service)

From Reddit

Atleast they sticked to their word and achieved parity on all platforms. The 3 versions run like ****.
No wonder they are giving it away with the Xbone bundle
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-assassins-creed-unity-performance-analysis

Visually it appears identical on both consoles, but in the majority of scenarios that challenge the game's 30fps cap, our tests reveal that it is the Xbox One that takes the lead.

Frame-rates in Assassin's Creed Unity are far more unstable compared to Black Flag. Under load, neither version manages to achieve a consistent 30fps, but surprisingly it's the Xbox One game that delivers a smoother experience.

Given the immense graphical upgrade on offer, this isn't so surprising, but what comes as a bit of a shock is that the Xbox One version frequently out-performs the PS4 game in more detail-rich areas, such as locations littered with NPCs in the packed Parisian streets.

Yep. can't say that anymore now that a game that runs like poo on both came out.

I'm weary of franchises that have yearly releases. Except COD.

The combat that I play of ACU on ps4 felt really slow.

Felt like I was playing the game in slow motion.

They say they do like 1,000 npc's on the screen right? I wonder how it would have run if they only maxed out at like 600 or 700. Seems like maybe they should've just cut down on that to get the framerate up or something.

I recall the ign or gs review, stating that about the npcs. The parkour is improved like always. But the combat falls short to me.

I don't think it lives up to their statement of "We're making a next-gen assassin's creed."

They probably already have about 6 AC games in the works.

I want this release problem riddled games trend to end asap.

But with so many falling for ubisoft/ea/activistion's BS, it'll never happen.

Hi everyone. As many of you know, earlier this year we announced that our forthcoming PS4 game, Bloodborne, would launch in February 2015. Unfortunately, I’m here today to announce a short delay to the release date, as we need a few more weeks to deliver you the best possible final experience.

We were really grateful for all the player data and feedback we received from those who took part in our recent limited alpha test, and this extra development time will allow us to better integrate these learnings into the game.

Bloodborne is now set to launch in the PAL region exclusively on PlayStation 4 on 25th March, 2015 (and 28th March in UK and Ireland).

In the meantime, look out for some exciting Bloodborne news in early December. Thank you very much for your continued support and patience!

It reeeeeaaaaally sucks.

My most anticipated game by far.
I understand.

When FH2 released, I couldn't play it for a couple hours.

Even though I had already predownloaded it.

I'm not predownloading again.

Welp seeing as how Type-0 HD drops 3/17, I probably won't play this game until the end of the year

I was just about to post that. This is probably the best console deal now

Finally got Diablo yesterday.  It's buttery smooth, and i really like how well its been done for console gaming.  First playthrough will take a while though, my girl likes to talk to EVERYONE and hear the stories, which I wouldn't expect anything less, her first RPG was Suikoden II.

I also got AC: Unity and NBA2K.  Planned on keeping Unity, but the framerate issues.... The way I decided not to even open it was going back to play TLoUR, lock the frame rate to 30 and try playing through, its just no good after playing the game in 60fps, just an entirely better experience.  Going back and fourth from silky Diablo to choppy Parity... PASS

I plan on returning those 2 games, hopefully a better outcome at a different WalMart.
