BY LUKE KARMALIThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has experienced a second delay until May 19, 2015, developer CD Projekt Red has announced.

An open letter explains the game's ambition means there are still bugs that need to be fixed and some features are not yet working correctly. As a result, the game has been pushed back by 12 weeks.

"Ever since we started working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we knew it would be an ambitious game," it begins. "We wanted, and still aim, to give you an incredible experience, an epic adventure in a vast, completely open fantasy universe.

"The sheer size and complexity of The Witcher, key features of the title, have had a decisive impact on production. Now, nearing the end of our work, we see many details that need to be corrected. When we release the most important game in our studio’s history, we must be absolutely sure that we did everything we could to limit any bugs to a level that will allow you to enjoy the game thoroughly.

"With this in mind, we took another look at current workloads and what they mean for the team. Even though everyone is working at full speed, we concluded that we need another 12 weeks, so we are shifting the release date of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to May 19th, 2015.

"We owe you an apology. We set the release date too hastily. It’s a hard lesson, one to take to heart for the future. We know what we want to do to make Wild Hunt one of the best RPGs you will ever play. And we continue to work hard to achieve just that. So, we apologize and ask for your trust."

Seeing as the upcoming RPG will have over 100 hours of content along with and an all-star cast, it isn't surprising that CD Projekt Red is taking its time to make sure the game is all it can be.

While the wait just got longer, we've plenty of coverage to keep you busy, from how the developer is focusing on fostering a sense of mysticism rather than bombastic effects, to the latest details that convince us this is one title that's well worth the wait.

Sleeping dogs would be the closet game to gta that's out right now.

man i havent touched that game in almost a month. paid for them damn expansions too. so ima have to pick this game up again so i dont feel like i completely wasted my money..

did you guys pick up the free games over the weekend?

Mirrors Edge (PS3) always wanted this and only got to play a demo.

Dying Light looks like bunz... Easy pass.

Tomorrow coppin that Destiny DLC and Suikoden II on Vita.  Never played it, but everyone swears by it, even my girl has played it.  

 

I went to the PSX on Saturday, didn't make the opening keynote, wasn't even there long.  Got there at 3p left by 6p.  Everything worth playing, Morpheous, Order 1886, Bloodborne, Project Cars etc, was a long *** line to play.  There was a line to play Destiny DLC, but i was like that **** comes out in 3 days, i can wait.  Played a bunch of indies including shovel knight and some top-scrolling, side-scrolling shooters.  Placed was packed.

They had this cool concept of PSX deck of cards you could only get if you went around to the different booths, tried to get em all, but they weren't just handing them out, you had to try their game, so i missed out on a lot bc of the lines.  Overall, it was pretty cool, got a swag bag with a tee, PS water aluminum water bottle, $10 PSN store card, some pins, and posters.

Couldn't get my hands on the 20th anniversary ps4, but i did get my eyes on it.  Its

I'm a married man with kids and my kids have picked up my gaming hobby so we buy a lot of games 

Outside of family activities i.e. movies, going to the park, trips etc. I don't do much, I'm a homebody.

As far as games, off the top I need to finish;

AC Rogue, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Forza Horizon 2, Destiny (raid + strikes), Team ICO Collection, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, Lightning Returns, Final Fantasy X-2 HD, Batman Arkham City, Kingdom of Amalur and there plenty more, damn near every game to release from PS+ within the last couple of months

man i have like 4 titles still in plastic for the PS3, and PS+ titles including Mirrors Edge and Hitman Collection that i added yesterday.. my backlog isnt deep like some of you guys but i already have more than i can even handle.

my PS4 has kept me busy.
