Battlefield Hardline's next beta has no level cap
A has detailed its plans for the next Battlefield Hardline beta, which will launch for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Hardline developer Visceral Games has said that the beta will allow you to progress through the game's upgrades as far as you can, without a cap on your max level.

There's no launch date yet, but when the beta does arrive it will include two maps (Desert and Downtown), plus two modes.

64-player cops and criminals fighting will be available in the returning Conquest mode, while the new Hotwire offering appears to be centered around vehicles.

"While it's just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay awhile," Visceral boss Steve Papoutsis explained.

"To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve."

Hardline was originally due to launch last autumn but ended up being delayed until March this year. Visceral said at the time that it was postponing the game's launch to incorporate feedback the first Hardline beta, held last June

How long is the PS Now trial? I want to use it when I have about a week off so I can just run through as many games as possible.

I just updated my backlog via PSN Anni Sale

Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Edition

Suikoden

Suikoden II

Jak & Daxter Trilogy

Devil May Cry Trilogy
It's good to see that Visceral is taking this launch a little more serious than DICE did with BF4. Those betas two weeks before the game drops are pointless. Hopefully it's an open beta so that we can all give it a go.

This could ultimately lead to @empirestrikesfirst  making his return to the battlefield

Never got into the AC, but man their games have all underwhelmed so far on the new generation of consoles minus maybe Far Cry 4. Staying away from all their games.
rayman legends

child of light

south park stick of truth

valient hearts

trials fusion

are by ubisoft and they're great games.
First off, none of those titles were specifically next gen games. All are available on last gen counterparts, or exclusive to last gen.

Trials is a Red Lynx game published by Ubisoft.

South Park was developed by Obsidian. Ubisoft bought an almost complete game and published it.

And with the exception of MAYBE South Park, none of those would be considered AAA games, which is where Ubi seemes to be faltering.

But you won't read this as you have me blocked, so hopefully someone quotes it so you know you're wrong.

Were these on sale, or did you just grab them with the other titles you got from the sale?

I'll be right back to Battlefield once I get one of those damn Gold Briefcases with a Canadian Flag and Canucks camo, with a $50 credit for any EA product attached for wasting my money on their last pile of trash.

Everyone getting TLOU now. Should easily clear 10 million now.

Any links to sign up for the beta?
None yet but soon according to the Hardline website.

PS now trial is 7 days and yes Hardline beta is open.

No; I just scooped them up with the sale titles since I had more than enough PSN credit leftover.

worth a try

Hardline beta
Let's talk about the Beta date. We don't want to announce the date until we've passed cert so that we're ABSOLUTELY sure everything is good

Like they did with BF4?

In all honesty, Hardline does mildly interest me but I know I won't get it on release if I do end up grabbing it.

I was feeling the same way you were. I'm not the biggest FPS fan but I like to keep one in rotation. CoD: AW, which wasn't a bad game,  just didn't keep me interested long enough. Destiny isn't the ideal competitive shooter for me. Halo MCC was broke and I'm not going back until it drops to about $30 and that'll be to play through the campaigns. I think Visceral is going to do a good job with Hardline. I'm going to wait until I finish Type-0 HD and maybe Bloodborne before I even think about copping Hardline. That will leave plenty of time for reviews and any server issues to be resolved.

chronicles x and splatoon have my attention. What surprised me is how there's actual games being made for the 3ds while on the vita...
3DS is Nintendo's bread and butter right now. Many people will argue that Nintendo doesn't support the Wii U enough.

I recently bought a 3DSxl as well, so far I have Bravely Default, link between worlds, DQ 6&9, Pokemon3d, and Tales of the Abyss... they really do have great games on DS :smokin, am I missing any must haves...

Vita is just underutilized imo. It doesn't help either that Sony ports a lot of the games up from PSV to PS3/4. The memory card pricing is just ridiculous.

It makes sense for them to do that because Handhelds are dying in the west but are king in Japan.

No one bought Tearaway but you can bet the PS4 version will outsell the Vita version in a flash.

Vita can't be revived in the west, all it's good for now is Indie games, localised 1st and 3rd party Japanese games and PS+ offerings and I'm happy with that.
