The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

No spoilers, but Episode 2 of GoT has made me realize I'd never survive in that universe.

I feel like every decision I made was the wrong one immediately after.

It must sell very well up here. We seem to have a Blue Jay on the cover every year, regardless of who is on the cover down south.

Finally looked at howlongtobeatoff and I'm just gonna start knocking some of these games out.

Chrono Trigger 23 hrs main story

Wild Arms 29 hrs main story

Suikoden II is 35 hrs main story

Persona 4 Golden ~70 hrs main story

Depending on when P5 releases I'll do this in this order.  See you later PS4.

Haven't been following console games for a while. Just got a ps4 last week and I have 2K15 and The Last of Us. What are some other games to get? I don't play online so the campaign and story of the game is what I'm more concerned with.

They don't necessarily have to be available right now, it'll just be cool to know what are some good titles to keep an eye on.
If story is what you care about then get Dragon Age. The end is pretty anticlimactic but getting there is fun.

Super Roach is like the godfather of that NT text based game LOST POWER CITY.

Guy is like a master CoDer.

Whenever I ran with him I would get murked with the quickness but then I'd just watch this guy walk all stealth like around the entire map killing guys off one by one.

I bought persona 3 a long time ago, played it for a few hours and disliked it and never tried again... Should I give P4 a shot?

I was like this, only had like 15 people on my list and they were fam ....now thanks to Destiny I have over 125 people and half is from NT.

I remember FFAs with NinongBrown Spidermaning ****.  And running up behind dudes, tellin them to turn around before he kills em.

Infamous:SS - Graphics, gameplay, and story are solid.  The replay value not so much imo... at a min. 2 playthroughs (good/bad).  You can find it cheap like $20 or less.  But honestly I would invest in PS+ even if you don't play online much because you get at least 2 free games a month and with 2k15 and esp TLOU you're gonna be missing out on some fun multiplayer.

In S and D, all I remember is BayArea going 12-1, 14-2, ect using a shotty. Consistently.

Thank God for Powerline adapters.

I bought this so now My PS4, PS3 and PC all now have a wired connection instead of wireless.
I'm seeing the benefits already.

You guys should look into it if you're using wireless.

Just copped a Vita, and currently playing Borderlands 2.

Add me MRFUEGO941...

On another note.

This. Been contemplating on copping, but I'm really jumpy. Is it okay for the faint of heart? lmao

You get a bunch of Vita games from PS+?

Sales for type-o just went up lmao, I want it and I don't even know what kind of game it is

SE knows what they're doing. It's the only way they can get away with charging a PSP remaster for full price.

I would have bough it even without the demo though. 8)

The Order :1886 should up your alley. No multiplayer, just a story driven single player campaign.

What type of genres do you play so we could suggest more games.

What specific tp-link model is that?

I'm not seeing it on amazon.

It doesn't matter right?

Also are these made to be as stable/fast as ethernet or is it just a bit better than wifi?

I have my xb1/ps4 on ethernet, then my other consoles connect via wifi.

I'll look into this for my 360/ps3.

TP-LINK TL-PA4030KIT

That's the model I got but it has a 3 pin plug for the UK so its equivalent might be called something else.

It's Much better than Wi-fi. More stable and much faster.

I was getting 33Mbps download speed from wifi on speedtest but got 65Mbps when I plugged this in.

Obviously there are some checks to do before buying it since it uses your house' wiring to transmit the data but definitely a worthy investment.

I have a three store home so I might be looking into this. But all my consoles are in my basement, where my modem/router are located, so it might make more sense to get a wifi booster in my upstairs bedroom.
