They did make a push for it as an entertainment system with TVii though. Them not having DVD's is understandable but it should have come with the ability to play Blu-Ray IMO.

And for the record I'd much rather have backwards compatibility than the ability to play DVDs. That was one of the biggest reasons I got it, and why I love my fat ps3
They are completley different. It's like saying why have a motorcycle when you can have a car. But once again the Xbox is the odd man out IMO because it's got essentially the same games, worse exclusives than both systems and ps4 is the better powers system
The Wii had all those games and wasn't expensive.
Backwards compatibility is a nice feature but the switch to x86 is thinking ahead.
I would rather prefer developers to have an easier time making new games than for them to have a hard time just so that I can play old games which already work on an older console.Edited by ddouble - 9/1/13 at 2:33pm
