The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

If Shenmue released again today, it would get hated on.  The internet just hates everything.

"Shenmue had too many QTEs, fighting is awful, I had to get a part-time job in the game, the pool mechanics are off, etc. etc."

Shenmue was the GOAT for dreamcast. loved that series also loved the sonic adventures 1/2, jet grind radio, powerstone, crazy taxi, dave mirra bmx, and whatever 2k had iverson on the cover :smokin

How is that new DBZ game? Interested in creating a short and fat super-saiyan lol.

And do I need to play the previous Uncharted games, in order to understand the newest game? Are the games available through PS4?

I loved how you could play burned games on the Dreamcast. In fact, I want a dreamcast only to play Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2. Maybe even some Tokyo Extreme Racer!

I was trying to remember if that was true. That settles it. Copping a new Dreamcast and a bunch of CD-Rs today

I think that will depend on how much you care about stories in general.

Yes: There's several recurring characters and there's a bit of character/relationship/friendship development.

No: It's not absolutely necessary to play the old ones to enjoy UC4.

If I was in your position, I'd make it my mission to play through UC 1-3 before november.

All UCs are great.

I can talk Dreamcast all day, my fav console of all time. I actually found mine last weekend in my mom garage, crazy. I haven't seen it in like 10 years!

I d/l and burnt soo many games, lol.

I think some of the UC can be played via the PS Now service (I think I got the name wrong) U can prob subscribe play them then cancel. It's like $20 a month, also check if they can be rented for stream in the store.

Do y'all remember that game on PSX called "Star Galaxy" or something like that? It was a 3D fighting game that had some weird characters in it. One guy was half bird half man, there was a weird alien that fought using some kind of yoyo weapon, and that guy Hayato from Marvel 2

I remember I use to play this game called Unholy War with my brother on PSOne. I think it was on one of those demo packs that came in magazines.

Anybody remember Fighting Force? It was a beat 'em up style game.

havent been in this thread is sooooo long

started playing games again over the holiday... finished The Last of Us Remastered. Great game. Been playing UFC... pretty good game. Bruce Lee :pimp:

so disappointed in reading and seeing bad reviews for The Order 1886. Been waiting for that game for over a year. :smh:
