Go Bloodborne go!
Not bad at all. Only 3 weeks on the market. I could see it selling 3-5 million by end of the year. You gotta think it'll probably come in a bundle during the holidays.

idk about that high, but I think we can look forward to a Bloodborne 2 at this rate.

I just assume it'll get close to that simply because of expected bundles and price drops. Is this the same FROM team that made Demon Souls? I know FROM has a few different teams and these guys didn't make Dark SOuls.

if i remember right, this team made demon's souls and dark souls 1. DS2 was a different team

Not sure about the staff as a whole, but Hidetaka Miyazaki was the Director of Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne.

He's credited as a supervisor on Dark Souls 2.

13 days since it says as of April 5th.

inFAMOUS Second Son sold through 1 million in 9 days and Bloodborne is meant to be a niche game.

Very impressive sales.

Dark Souls II did 1.2 million shipped in 3 weeks on two platforms for comparison

Don't know if I'm late but Hardline is $29.99 at Target for any console. Price match w/Amazon for $39.99 and then they take off 30% w/ the Cartwheel app.

Nt quick question I wonder what will be cheaper increasing my internet speed or adding my own dedicated line?

I ask because I stay at home until I'm finished with school but my brother and I game like hell and we are like 18 Mbps right now but have the occasional lag.

Would you guys increase speed or just add your own dedicated router for gaming?

Star Ocean 5 announced for PS4, PS3

According to Weekly Famitsu, where these scans appeared, Star Ocean 5 seems to be 30 per cent developed. Currently, the release date for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is TBA.

Previously, the fourth entry in the series, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, was released in 2009

I know nothing about this series but looks good. It takes place in between Star Ocean 2 and 3 according to the magazine.
Star Ocean is great. SO:LHI was really good... I don't know why people wouldnt like it. I guess a long RPG with great mechanics and varied environments sucks nowadays...

increase speed. 18mbps isn't that high (no offense, i know this struggle too) and buying a dedicated router wont do anything. even if you both get your own routers for yourselves...at BEST you would have 9mbps and hed have 9mbps. its better to fight over 50mbps than split 18...

Did you ever play the other games? I have SO3 on PS2 but have yet to play it. SO4 was my first one and I loved it.

Only one I havent played is the original. I'd put Last Hope #1 for me personally, with End of Time, Second Story, and Blue Sphere rounding it out.

Anyone pick up MKX? How is it so far? Tempted to scoop it up after work this afternoon :nerd:

I had low expectations when I copped The Last Hope. I only had a 360 at the time and already had played Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vepseria and Eternal Sonata. I wasn't a fan of real time battles then. The Last Hope was just so fun to me and then end game content was great too. It was also hard as hell  I loved that game man. I was trying to go for 1000/1000 gamerscore but ended up giving up. Once I got a PS3 and International dropped, I copped but only played in spurts. I knew I'd never get that platinum  I'm definitely going to give it another playthrough just for fun before SO5 drops.

hybridsoldier23 hybridsoldier23 I never lost hope

Reviews for it are great. It's sitting at an 84 on metacritic.
This is also in the game...
MORTAL KOMBAT X FEATURES MICROTRANSACTIONS FOR EASY FATALITIES
Practice or...pay?

BY LUCY O'BRIEN

Mortal Kombat X features two add-on packs offering players "easy" fatalities for real-world cash.

The packs offer a limited number of fatalities that players can achieve with simplified inputs. Currently, 5 are going for $0.99 USD and 30 will cost you $4.99 USD.

Other add-ons currently available are as follows:
 • Kombat Pack ($29.99 USD)  -  offers you early access to 4 playable characters (including Jason Vorhees and Predator), plus skins.
 • Goro ($4.99 USD)  - gives you Goro as a playable character.
 • Blue Steel Sub-Zero ($1.99 USD)   - lets you play as Blue Steel Sub Zero.
 • Unlock all Krypt items ($19.99 USD)  - lets you unlock everything in the Krypt in one fell swoop.
 • Samurai Pack (bundle only)  - gives you three new character skins.
If you want to shell out for all the DLC on top of the $59.99 USD base game, you're looking at a cost of $122.95 USD.

At the very least, if you don't want to spend money unlocking all the Krypt items, be sure to check out our Wiki guide which details the combinations for every fatality.

I hate the way DLC is handled but it doesn't bother me as much since I don't really buy DLC. I think Gears was the last and only DLC I paid for. Most DLC is pointless to me. MK X has more than enough characters in it, no way in hell am I paying for Goro or some Sub-Zero skins

I want the DRIVECLUB season pass and I'm having a hard time justifying that. I just don't really support DLC.

Guitar Hero Live

Guitar Hero Live is taking the series back to its root with a twist
You'll play in a first person perspective.

There won't be colored frets on the guitar but 6 black and whites one, in two rows.

It's currently being developed by Freestyle Games (DJ Hero).

Word when I get uverse 18 was the only option they had max I see they're offering 45 now I might call when I get off to see if I can get a deal on it

I think 45 should be okay for you. I run around 50 and am able to play online while my girlfriend watches Netflix without either really dipping.

Yeah MKX already has a lot of stuff on the disk. The only thing I got was the kombat pack and when I preordered MKX I didn't have to pay anything additional for Goro. Everything else I don't see the point in stuff like the Krypt pass and skins is subjective if people wanna put money down on it

Guitar Hero Live is here. FreeStyleGames have reinvented the legendary Guitar Hero franchise, with two innovative new gameplay modes and an all-new guitar controller.

GH Live mode puts you onstage, looking out: you get a heart-stopping first-person perspective as a real crowd reacts to the notes you play. Or switch over to GHTV – a playable music video network, where you can play along in real time, discover new music, and challenge friends around the world.

In GH Live, you’ll take the stage in a variety of venues. Experience it all from the intimacy of a small club or the main stage of a massive outdoor festival.

[h5]New Controller Features[/h5]
More real than ever

The guitar controller has been updated to reflect the new style and realism of Guitar Hero Live.

All new button layout

The new 2x3 button layout creates the feeling of switching between strings and provides an enhanced experience when playing chords.

Classic strum bar
THE GUITAR CONTROLLER

Easier to play, harder to master
The guitar controller was redesigned for the best gameplay across all skill levels. The new 2x3 button layout makes it easier to play with only three buttons, or, on veteran, it starts mirrors what it’s like to play chord shapes with all six buttons, making the game easier for beginners and harder for experts.
