F1 2015 will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One, Codemasters has confirmed to VideoGamer.com. The game will run at 60 frames per second on both platforms.

Confirmation follows shortly after it was revealed that Slightly Mad's racer Project CARS will also run at different resolutions on the two consoles, again at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One.

It isn't yet clear whether there will be any further visual differences between the two platforms.

F1 2015 is currently in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with a release planned for June 12. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are not in development.

On console we've had it very, very close to 60fps, certainly on PS4," F1 2015's game designer Steven Embling told Eurogamer. "Everyone at the studio is doing a fantastic with the optimisation, and we're in the final couple of months before release where there's a big push that we hit that 60fps, and that's the plan."

"It's quite a straightforward answer to that one," said Embling. "We had to do everything from the ground up. Our previous games, they were always building on what we had before and we had a stable platform they could build on. This time, with this game, we wanted to harness the power of the new consoles. In order to do that we had to start from scratch completely."

1080p/60fps and built for the ground up for current gen with last gen not dragging it down.
Things are looking good. I hope Codemasters do a good job with this.

Good year for racers

I think I'm about ready to give up on Driveclub. I can't even come remotely close to winning any of the Hyper car races. They're just too hard to handle, ridiculously frustrating :smh:

No Rosberg

I know there are a ton of games to jump to but all I will say is stick with it. I was where you are with GT5 and the damn Red Bull car. So difficult to control, but I would just do a race or two every day for a few weeks. I eventually got the hang of it and I think it made me better using every other car as well. There is such little room for error with the high-end cars, so once you can figure out the timing with braking, cornering, and acceleration, it flows down into the lower tiers.

One thing that really helped me with the hyper cars is to try to brake and accelerate in a straight line. Breaking while cornering almost always lead to it letting go, while accelerating while turning caused the car to go sideways pretty quick. This might not be the best strategy for setting lap times, but it should get you through most races.

I'm gonna stick with it man, it's just frustrating as hell  I am getting better at drifting too. I 3 starred all drifiting events.

I think I'm going to cop the season pass too, I want that McLaren :smokin

iYen iYen I'm not sure how many hours I put in. I'd say between 25-40 if I had to guess. I just recently picked it back up again once all these NTers copped for $20.

I've really tried to give them a chance, but the Max Scoville guy needs to understand he really isn't as funny as he thinks he is.

He does have some hilarious parts, but they are few and far between the awkward rants he goes on with puns and nonsense...

Honestly, had they just done Marty as host with Brian Altano, Vince Ingenito, and Jared Petty alternating in and out, I think it'd have been alot better.
