The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

That's why I'm getting two. I have an Amazon launch day and hoping to grab one on release date aka stand in line,.

Who's really going to get a PS Eye? Like dead *** serious is interested in it? I wonder if my Move PS Eye will work on this...

I've got 2 PS4's pre ordered in store. 1 at my local Best Buy and 1 at my local Gamestop which this one is paid off in full already.

So glad my community where I live both stores are less than 5 miles from each other.

Will go to the midnight launch at Gamestop and will be keeping that PS4.

The following morning I'll go to my Best Buy and pick up my second PS4 and that one will be for reselling.

  Finally.

Getting...sleepy...

They're spending a lot of time on Vita. We have to wait through the PS3 too before we get to what I really want to hear about.

Yea I have work to go to soon
I like the Vita and PS3 but I hope they breeze through them.

I thought it was going to be a straight fantasy game with some horror elements, but even with the other aspects Deep Down looks great.

It sounds like you meet up with friends online and go in these portals to fight monsters in dungeons. Did they say the enemies and environments are randomly generated too? :wow:

so wat's happening?

Its over. I didn't catch the whole thing. It was definitely for the Japanese audience. They showed a new JRPG from Level-5. Not feeling the character design on it. A new Yakuza game. And Deep Down looks dope. They showed some live gameplay of a guy walking through a dungeon and encountering some pig beast. They also showed a little more of the dragon encounter from the PS4 reveal in Feb.

Next up is TGS in a couple weeks. That's where the real announcements would come. All the big publishers like Square will probably be there with new stuff.

This is huge for me. I love my Vita, but only really enjoy it when on trips or not able to relax at home. I can also have my PS4 in one room and be able to play games in my bedroom.

Sony Reveals New Hardware: PS Vita TV
Play your Vita games on the big screen.
by Colin Moriarty SEPTEMBER 9, 2013

Sony revealed a ton of stuff tonight at its pre-TGS press conference, but perhaps the biggest surprise (well, other than a PS Vita redesign) was the unveiling of an all-new piece of Vita-related hardware. It’s called PS Vita TV, and it lets you play Vita games on your television... and do a bunch of other stuff, too.

PS Vita TV is a tiny piece of hardware. It’s about as big as a deck of cards, measuring 6cm by 10cm. It’s the smallest PlayStation hardware ever.

The idea of PS Vita TV is to let you play Vita games on the big screen using a DualShock 3 controller, but there’s actually more to it than that. While PS Vita TV has a card slot for Vita games, and accepts Vita memory cards, it will also let you use video streaming services (such as Hulu) and more. It even lets you play your PlayStation 4 via Remote Play.

It will also let you play PSone Classics and PSP games through it, again using the DualShock 3. And it will connect to PlayStation 4 so that you can play Vita games through PS4, as well.

PS Vita TV launches in Japan on November 14th, and will cost 9,480 Yen ($95). A special verison of it, packing an 8 gig Vita memory card and a DualShock 3 controller, will cost 14,980 ($150). It sounds like it will eventually be released in the west, though a specific release date (as well as pricing information) is still unknown.
