I was just reading that xbox 1 thread and it had me confused on all that used game stuff and drm policies... Won't be going in there again

There is no DRM and Used game policies on the XB1..

I'm done posting over there. Every time I try to go back to that user base on NT to give legitimate information I realize how many morons are in that thread. I'm not saying PS users are smarter ( ) but NT's PS user base certainly comes off much more informed, educated, and less socially and mentally inept.

During the DRM episode, i clearly remember many PS fans saying "derp derp derp, NSA, derp derp, family sharing isn't real, derp derp derp, xbox isn't for games derp derp derp, im switching cos sony is for gamerz derp derp i'm confused".

The sharing policy had to be practically copy and pasted in every page.

I thought about writing a post like Hybrid's back then. But then i realized that it was going to be a bit snobby. Looks like you decided to bite the bullet on the smug post Hybrid, congrats.

At the end of the day, there's probably 5-8 people in the Xbox thread whose opinions I take seriously, with that number a bit higher in this thread. Other than that, there are some real rubes in both threads.

It's not just one person, it's about 90% of the people who are posting in there and who posted in the old thread. There's a reason the PS threads have maxed out, been recreated, and continue to thrive on this board.

I so agree. Problem is, as much as I was an OG Xbox 360 head... My pre-orders are dominated with PS4 software thanks in LARGE part to remote play on my Vita.. Thats huge for a guy like me who is never home... So I might just be PS4 this gen... We shall see...

And yes, its obvious who my guy Hybrid works for... But let that man cook... no need for some crazy dude to go blow up his spot. #Respect

You should at least explain why you don't like the gameplay if you want people to take you seriously.

Who was to blame for the confusion when MS themselves were back tracking like hell until they eventually did a 180. If your own VP and PR spokespeople are all saying different things then what do you expect. Everyone was confused, everyone.
Also, if the complaints didn't hold any weight then MS would have stuck to what they did intended t do originally and the complaints would only have been from a small segment of people not most people.

Reading the "where can I still preorder" posts are funny now.
You could have preordered the console for like $50, then paid it off.
At this point, you're best option to cop on ebay.
People are selling their preorders.
Obviously not for retail.

don't you have to trade the game in...pay $10 and then you'll get the next gen version? i could be wrong tho

If I'm not mistaken you receive some type of code with the PS3 version and you use that code to receive a discounted price for the PS4 downloaded version

All PlayStation 4 pre-orders – including those placed beyond the August 5 cut-off date – will be fulfilled in time for Christmas, Sony has confirmed.

In an interview with CVG, Sony UK MD Fergal Gara confirmed that "everyone who has put down a pre-order so far will definitely get one before Christmas, as long as nothing goes terribly wrong."

Gara also reiterated comments made to VideoGamer.com last month, suggesting that more PS4 stock could become available in time for launch.

"And if things keep going well we'll delight even more people on day one," he continued. "We don't want to over-promise and under-deliver, we want to do the opposite."

Stock should be available to purchase freely off the shelves "at the start of [2014]", Gara added.

Sony has previously warned retailers that pre-orders placed beyond August 5 may not be fulfilled on launch day given the huge demand for the console.

Earlier today, Sony confirmed that a range of official bundles will be available on launch day, including one bundling in a copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall, a PlayStation Camera and an additional DualShock 4.
