The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Sony bites everything off Microsoft. How is it they had the set-up for their streaming service first?

UNPOSSIBLE!

I can't believe they would do such a thing!

Copying all those glorious Xbox One features like a Blu-ray drive for a higher capacity format for larger games, built in wi-fi, hard drive in every unit, and being region free. (All features the PS3 had when it launched 7 years ago.)

And the PS4's Xbox copy cat controller that is derived from a controller that Sony created 15+ years ago. Like the original Xbox controller had 4 shoulder buttons and not some ridiculous black and white buttons on the handle. :rolleyes Like every modern game controller with 4 face buttons, 4 shoulder buttons, 2 analog sticks, a d-pad, and built in force feedback isn't an adaption of the original DualShock. :rolleyes Before the DualShock, controllers were changing a lot from generation to generation.

Will go tomorrow to finish paying the ps4 off.

Decided that i'm going to cancel the extra ds4 pre-order. I will wait for the wave blue or magma red ds4's to launch in the u.s.

Still undecided on what game to get.

Everyone here pretty much done paying it all off?

...this is the rationale of hoarders.
I have like 8 games that are still in shrink wrap.
Not to mention dlable games that I've barely touched. Such as umvc3.

I mean, I wouldn't personally have that many games when I pick up my console, but I don't understand why someone would even question that. Why the hell else would someone buy 11 games? To admire the cover art?

oh. i guess if you plan on playing every minute of every day for 6 months that would make sense

You sound salty... :rolleyes

 knew I wasn't the only who does this.

Dude is Xbox guy #1 yet he'll be playing more PS4 games than any of us laugh.gifmean.gif

I've said it before, that PS4 to Vita on the go is a GAME CHANGER for me. My job keeps me on the go... But when I'm home... Its never boring around here

Some people actually purchase games for that purpose.

salty? really?because i asked whats the point of getting 11 games at one time? you really going to play every game completely before you get more?

Why do you care? Serious question, is it bothering you? Would you like me to limit the games I purchase? Would you like me to cop you a game as well? Like seriously, why does it matter?

I have a really good friend who does that though. Dead serious :smh:

I don't see any way that having an extensive collection of games is bad
I don't think it's bad.

I find it funny when I play far cry 3. I have like 20 hours logged in that game, but I have like 25 unfinished games.

Then when I'm bored with far cry, I'm like "I have nothing to play."

This was pre-gtav though.

Check Out the First Brave Japanese Gamers in Line to Preorder a PS4

While online preordering is starting to become a widespread practice in Japan, there are still quite a few hardliners that like to take part in the ceremony of standing in line for hours on end in front of their favorite shop to be between the first to bring their favorite game home, or in this case, to put their name down for a PlayStation 4 (and bring home a receipt I guess).

Preorders open today, and the toughest gamers are already standing (or sitting, or laying) in line. According to reports, some of them have been there since yesterday at 9 PM. In Akihabara, Tokyo, there are 16 degrees Celsius (60°F) and and it’s raining lightly.

Below you can see some pictures of the landscape, including the signs in front of the shops, courtesy of Twitter users Cotory, Tsurumirobo, April_4, Kityou, Truro and of the Japanese websites Inside Games and Hachima Kiko. You can also see Twitter users Kanagawaterumin and Panini‘s receipts after they successfully managed to complete their preorder. Looks like they’re lucky, considering that online preorders were all sold out in mere minutes.

Apparently the PS4 has to compete with the launch of a Kamen Raider toy belt. Ah Japan…

you posted a pic on here trying to brag. Im just wondering whats the point of getting 11 games

Would you like me to cop you a game as well?

Take him up on this offer bro. Semi-srs.

Do you two have issues or something though?

There's nothing foreign about buying a lot of something at once and then working through them at your pace, so there has to be more than that to this.
