The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Did Sony ever say it would anywhere and everywhere? To me it always seemed more like a Wii U type of thing. You can watch TV and play PS4 off-screen on your Vita.

Check the Japanese promo vid they had of the chick who was playing Knack at home, goes to college pulls out her Vita and resumes her game. They've had a couple of promos like this implying it was going to be doable on the go.

Let's say the majority on here get BF4 or (insert FPS here) and gets some NT members only MP going, why do i get the feeling that jetpac would be hunted down by the opposing team and his own teammates would team kill him.

Load times will be identical.. No one really knows until they're out and we see it ourselves

Alright.... and this is from the PS4 reveal:

Here is where they talk about it

"For example, say you're in an epic battle on your PS4, and your kids take over the living room. What do you do? Well it's easy, you just use remote play to transfer your game to the PSVita."

That's the only example he gives.

Japan introduces world’s fastest internet speeds with Sony Nuro Fiber service

So...maybe it really is possible in Japan?

Is there any instance where SCEA said you can use remote play while out and about?

I never expected it to work outside my house

This
I didn't even know remote play would work outside of the house until recently. Honestly, don't eem care about the recent news.

The only reason I'm looking forward to remote play is that it will allow me to keep playing my PS4 when my wife or son want to use the tv in my living room

Yea. Lettuce be cereal. The remote play not working outside your house isnt Sony's fault. I'm just happy that they put the option there.

We're limited by the bandwidths of our homes and all Sony is saying is that dont get your hopes up.

I have a 50mb connection at home and a 30mb connection at school.

Is that good enough to support remote play, if I felt like doing that?

I just need some verification, the target deal starts on the 10th (a sunday), which is the day I'm planning to get the ps4. So theoretically speaking if I wanna cop 2k14, BF4 and Madden 25 I'll need to come to target again on that tuesday that week to get the games and take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free?

Target deal isn't yet verified (most likely true though). but I'm confused about your question, you'll be able to get the games Sunday November 10 if in stock

Someone on the PS4 reddit emailed amazon customer service and it looks like Amazon will now also be doing the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal for PS4 launch title games:
