Though there have been a few missteps on Sony’s behalf from the recent FAQ post riddled with mistakes of no MP3 support, No DLNA support, and a few other features that are not available at launch. We were able to speak to a Sony rep today about if any of these features could be implemented in the near future and much to our surprise we have received a “Yes“.

The future update that is in process to be rolled out shortly after the PS4′s launch(November 15th) will include the following detailed features listed below:

Legacy headset support

Mp3 support for not only in-game but non gaming as well.

Suspend and resume play feature

All of these features are set to hit PS4′s consoles by late 2013- to early 2014. Which we hope Sony will deliver sooner upon. From what we know these features are being packed in the 2nd forth coming PS4 firmware update. Also these details were hinted today when Shuhei Yoshida made a post on twitter stating that he had a discussion with other PlayStation 4 development team members about received feedback. With this news being provided Those these features are a definite step in the right direction.

We were still unable to confirm future external hard drive support for media or game data would be supported later on. lastly we’re still waiting to hear if there will be future YouTube support for video sharing. What do you think of this good news do you think Sony still needs more features to claim the living room in this next gen console war?

 PS3 games were designed for an entirely different system. The PS4 isn't backwards compatible on it's own. I don't see any PS3 game, digital or physical, working natively on the PS4.

So were ps1/ps2 games, but were still able to play them.

BC has to do with reading the ps3 discs.

ps3 games are going to work on the ps4.

Gaikai is one of ways sony hopes to achieve that.

Microsoft uses PC Battlefield 4 footage in Xbox Promo[/SIZE=5]

It’s pretty well known that the Xbox One version of EA’s awesome Battlefield 4 is running at 720p on the system, which puts it at quite the graphical disadvantage when compared to the PC and even the PS4.
Microsoft is sponsoring a “Battlefield Showdown” tournament of sorts, and is promoting it on the official Xbox Youtube channel with an Xbox-branded trailer for the showdown. The problem? The game footage (despite having an Xbox logo watermarked on it), isn’t from the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One. It’s from the PC.
How do we know? The upper right corner shows the “Backspace” button to access Battlelog. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions don’t show the backspace key there.
Shame on you MS.

I'm watching this, and thinking to my self.. damn there's a lot of stuff going on in this game.. i hope i'll be able to catch on right away.. this is gonna be my first time playing this game when i grab it for ps4

yea, this looks like chaos. last year was my first time playing and was kinda discouraged cause i didnt have a team. if enough NT'ers link up it'll definitely be fun for you. I've played with a few of them and it was a much better experience.
