you should know how they do it, wait a year or two and they gonna drop different colorway (in other countries)...they got people buy multiple's, while the USA get maybe one or two different colors

Depends on your local store. Associate at my shop said they had 90 preorders and were still taking more while other stores have already reached their limit.

No.

Gamestop requires $100 deposit. Best Buy only requires $25 deposit.

Do the find store option on both their websites and make some calls to see which stores in your area is still taking pre orders.

Just be aware though that if your pre order on bestbuy.com they will put a $400 hold on your credit card or bank account if you use a debit card.

Way too many ps3 games I need to play until I buy a new system. But I'm glad ps4 looks like it will have a better variety of games than the ps3. And they seem to have learned from their mistakes.

The no DRM is huuuuuge for me. I almost only by used games. Just got the new bio shock for 30 bucks

Only things that suck are no backwards capability and only 2 USB ports

With bluetooth everything, only thing I use usb ports for is charging controllers.

While USA might have the larger video game market, Japan will have the people who will buy that white/silver version as a collectible like some folks in here do with shoes. I'm sure there are some folks here that would do that too, but will be a lot bigger sell in Japan.

I'm starting to hate some region specific selling. Was looking at watchdogs earlier, seems preorder from Gamestop gives you 1 special mission, Amazon a different one, Best buy a different one, but they have a bundle Ubiplay bundle that comes with all 3 missions and doesn't seem to be available in USA.

PS3 yes you can through the PSN. They sell digital version of popular games like GTA III, GTA Vice City Stories, GTA San Andreas and call them PS2 classics.They don't remaster the games in HD though or add trophy support.

PS4 we will have to see what Sony plans to offer in the Gaikai streaming service which they plan to launch next year.

I'm pretty sure NOBODY around me has preordered at my local GameStop, hopefully I can wait until Friday to preorder.

Called my local GS to see if there were more reserves available and there was. Told them I had the OG 60GB and dude told me they'd give me up to $140. Told him it was broken, keeps overheating and won't stay on. The manager said I'd get between $70-$80. That's way more than I expected. A few months ago a mom/pop shop told me something like $14-$25. SMH Glad I waited.

I do feel like I took huge L on the games.

People don't see what's going on, the reason why Microsoft is trying to go all digital and be a entertainment system is because Sony did the Blu Ray format and put it on the PS3 and won that battle versus the HD DVD format that Microsoft was backing. Microsoft now has to use the Blu Ray drive on their system and that's something they don't want to do because it making Sony cash and Sony now has Microsoft right where they want them. It's a win win for Sony no matter what and that why Sony could release the PS4 at $399 and not care because they won the format battle and it costing them cheaper to make than it costing Microsoft to make the Xbox ONe.

Why would you tell them it's broken if it runs fine initially? They're not gonna test it out for an hour to make sure it's working 100% right

HD DVD was Toshiba's technology. I dont think its that. They will either pay Sony or Toshiba.
