So I'm about to say something I haven't said in quite some time. I'm thinking of getting a VITA. Can someone convince me to go for it?

I have a ps3, wii u, and 3ds right now. I'm definitely not getting a ps4 for a few more years because I have a pretty big backlog and I simply don't see much that I'm freaking out over. Plus I want the library to build up so I can get games cheaper and really attempt to only choose the cream of the eventual crop.

I come home from work and I pretty much only want to play on the gamepad or 3ds while I ha ve the news or sports or whatever in the background. So I figure maybe this is a good idea.

Okay so all I have heard is that the VITA has no support. How true is that? I'm mostly looking to play indie games that aren't available on nintendo and trying to get into JRPG's because I feel like I have more patience these days and those games seem perfect to play while the TV is on the background.

Main games I'm thinking about is Persona 4 Golden and Hotline Miami. (I've never played a persona game)

should I do it?! what are the top games?

Nintendo's been in the game longer than Sony, why don't they have any countries on lock?

They focus on gameplay not having the most powerful system and don't cater to third parties.

Sony wasn't the underdog, they were expected to carry on the success of the PS2 but blew it. After 2009 though they started turning things around with the PS3 slim and Uncharted and their success in those markets I mentioned before helped.

$ony was the underdog 07-09 when I followed last gen.

All the changes MS have made isn't going to do nothing to change the sales gap. It's only going to get wider. They threw the kitchen sink at their best market in the holidays but that only look liked it made a temporary change not a permanent one so far.

Pure conjecture and hindsight bias. "who are purchasing PS4 and why they are doing it and what they are doing with PS4, so we can create a bit more of a positive future, rather than saying, 'Wow, we have sold to every single core gamer."

So bringing the heat is leaving all exclusives till the holiday season and allowing the competition free reign till then.

I said blockbuster exclusives. $ony's recent blockbuster exclusive was a flop. m$ has exclusives to be released to be released soon such as Ori and in the summer.

I'm not focusing on them, because I care more about the blockbuster exclusives. The games that made most ppl enter nextgen for.

$ony let m$ dominate holiday 2014 exclusive wise, let's not forget.

What are the sales for The Order. I know it didn't do well critically but it's been topping the charts in Europe.
I'll wait for sales data before declaring it a flop.

I don't care about game sales. I care about how good a game is. I'll need to get my hands on the order to make that call for myself, but the order is not a good game critically. As you stated.

What ouput. The last thing they released was in November and it's still buggy last I heard even though Metacritic gave it an 85 but what do I know.

You don't own Halo, so why would you speak on it? Unless you're secretly antidope, you can't speak on Halo's state.

I have mcc and the campaigns have worked since day one. That's about 40 hours of gameplay before touching the MP.

They have stuff for the rest of the year, but I'm speaking on blockbuster games. It's like how in the summer you expect summer blockbusters.

I've played all those games except mlb.

For the sake of the discussion, compare each exclusive you listed in their respective genres by their metacritic scores.

m$'s exclusives have better scores, therefore better output.

I personally don't care about launch exclusives. I'm referring to the exclusives as of late(1-8 months old).

After lots of searches, it looks like the latest update bricked my ps4.

Updating was the last thing I remember doing.

Supposedly the error code I'm getting means that my hdd can't be read.

Jose told me to just send my ps4 in at no charge.

Please let out a prayer for my save data.

Had m$ stuck their message to strictly games like they are now, $ony's lead wouldn't be as it is now.

Spencer already stated the exclusives would be out holiday season and they might push them to next year.
The order was a flop.

iYen, youre a smart dude legitimately. i dont see how you can use this argument with a straight face. youre saying a hypothetical where only 1 side gets to change what they did, and then giving a solid outcome of the change. You're better than that. How can u say if ms stuck to their "message" then the lead would change or would be different? People aren't buying consoles for a message. MS messed up in SOOOOO many places you can't pinpoint the turning point for them. Even I was MS last gen but switched over now. 

And MS saying exclusives will be out during the holiday is stupid. We just had a holiday. Nothing happened. Sunset was a flop. Came and went with no one the wiser. Same thing for Halo which is what all the MS fanboys went to war with (before it dropped) Halo was the ace up the sleeve! And it failed MISERABLY. It was embarrassing how bad their #1 exclusive. Pitiful even. 

And finally, you and many others here keep talking about how both consoles exclusives either suck or are good but nothing GREAT yet. I agree. I liked Second son A LOT, but i wouldn't say it was a goty candidate. But then you say, Forza is the only must have exclusive? We need to reevaluate what must have means. Because if i had an xbox i still wouldn't be checking for forza. Racing games are niche. Please dont refer to a racing game as a must-have. If you don't like racing games, this will NOT draw you in. 

Ex. I dont like mmos/rpgs. But games like fallout nd FF and borderlands dragged me in. I dont like 3rd person shooters but Gears dragged me in. they were must haves. forza? a must have IF u like racing sims.

I say arrogance because since the 360 did so well, they thought that pricing it at $500 and not giving an option would be okay with consumers. I like my kinect to, but it should've been $299 without and $399 with kinect. There is no need for a $500+ console anymore

And when I say does the same stuff, neither system has must have game changing exclusives. people wan a play Fifa, madden, Battlefield, COD and Destiny. both consoles do that. One did it cheaper. Third parties drive sales.

this is not good business sense. you wanted them to launch the console AND the peripheral for $400? makes ZERO business sense. ps4 nailed it by launching at 400 period. Which is why xbox had to fall in line to the same price. But you saying a new game console by itself should be $300 makes me question if you use logic before typing. They'd be taking a huge loss on every single console. HUGE.

Regarding Project Morpheus - does anyone know if you can just use it as a personal tv screen? I.e. I'm playing a static game of Mortal Kombat X on Morpheus while my girl is watching Real Housewives next to me on the livingroom TV.
