I'm not excited for cross play yet cuz how will you add people from other consoles there is a gap in it capability to me

Yea, too many things to think about.

But you can get around that particular way but doing what Street Fighter did and having an ID in game so you can invite either PC or PS4 players since it's using that ID and not the PSN iD's.

Still though, there's voice chat, exclusivity deals and other complexities that would stop this from happening.

Just scooped up a PS4 on the low. Curious if it has the same feature like on X1 where you and a friend can share games?

I don't see what makes cross platform that complex besides the voice chat.

I think the lack of built in voice chat would be a huge issue for western gamers but outside of that we've already seen numerous games do it.

Cinematic mode: you can play standard PS4 games or enjoy Netflix on a virtual big screen at three different zoom levels

Isn't it when your PS4 is in rest mode and you redeem a voucher code to buy a digital game on the PS Store from the internet while your at work the download should be going onto your PS4 at home.

Wouldn't having that close to your eyes mess your vision up?

Having something close to your eyes is actually not bad for your eyes, it's just the strain from having to focus when something is that close that's not good.
That said, Most high end VR Headsets like the PSVR all have lenses for focusing so it shouldn't be a problem.

I won't play for more than 3 hours though without a break but that's just me.

Yea, it would download while in rest but you still have to queue the game for download after buying it or redeeming it to initiate the download.

What about the brightness of the screen being so close to your eyes? I've been taught to believe watching TV in the dark for too long is bad enough, and having that bright screen right up to your eyes doesn't seem like a good idea.

I honestly don't think that would be a problem since no one with hands on has complained about it and you'll be able to adjust the brightness.
It's using an OLED screen and it will fill up your entire vision instead of coming from a single source.

I still would take regular breaks as I normally do for using anything with a screen.
