The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

uncharted is a great game i really liked 2 a lot... but i dont have the attention span to play the whole game again... i got uncharted 3 still in the wrapper from when i bought it on black friday

Fans were disappointed to find out earlier this year that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End wouldn’t be making its scheduled release in 2015, as Naughty Dog confirmed a big delay which pushed the game into 2016. While Naughty Dog has recently confirmed that the game is locked in on a March 18, 2016 release, fans were never given a solid reason as to what prompted the sudden delay. Until now.

Typically, game delays are caused by a number of issues ranging from bugs, polish, or overhauling a mechanic. In this case however, it was something else entirely. In the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, Uncharted 4 director, Neil Druckmann, spoke a bit more about the delay into 2016 and that it was ultimately caused by a desire to really nail the ending. Without giving away any big moments, Druckmann does tease something big which required a lot of effort from the development team. Not wanting to reduce the scope or ambition on the project, the team opted to delay the game.

Uncharted 4 ain't delayed. Poor reading comprehension, SMH.

Uncharted overrated?

What a clown
Explain what makes it so great
Besides graphics
gameplay, story, characters, music. I like it better than TLoU and have always said that. TLoU is just more emotional and has better gameplay mechanics which makes sense since it was released years after Uncharted 3. To each is own though, all 4 games are great.

I know you're trolling, but to those who may be following the thread and genuinely want to know the answer:

Story. Uncharted does story and character development better than almost any other franchise. It makes you care for and invest in the characters like a good book.

The story may have some weird elements, but it is always easy to follow and is full of action. Alot of AAA franchises have an issue with pacing, while I feel Uncharted is unmatched in how it paces it's games.

So people are critical of the control (especially aiming the guns and using grenades) however, it is consistent. You can play UC1 and pick up UC3 and know exactly how to play it. You get used to how it controls.

It's almost like watching a great Indiana Jones movie, but being able to control the events taking place.

Yeah I was hoping that post by nawghty was false. I've only completed 11 main missions in MGS V :smh:

damn gotta take that L on the uncharted 4 delay then my b guys and naughty just stop man your trolling isn't funny b

Yes finally!

The exclusivity has ended.
Hopefully I can now watch Street fighter archives on the big screen and on HD to boot.

He isn't trolling btw, guy hates every game. Amazed TLOU wasn't called a bunch of filler for the cut scenes.

Just about to post this. One of the reasons I enjoy my X1, Twitch app is too clutch.

Apparently only europe is getting the theme for now.

Now the company is making it possible to broadcast or view livestreams across all PlayStation platforms, including the PS Vita, PS3, and PlayStation TV.

When PlayStation 4 launched in 2013, it offered the ability to easily live broadcast PS4 gameplay sessions using the “Share” button on the DualShock 4 wireless controller and view live PS4 gameplay sessions via Live from PlayStation.

This is also the first time that Twitch has appeared on a handheld console — it’s not on the 3DS family of Nintendo systems.

Broadcasting from the Vita would have been much better earlier in the Vita's life but I'll take it still.

PSTV now needs a working Netflix app to be on my my wanted list.

That's clutch. You guys can now :smokinwatch me play the greatest game ever made, Final Fantasy VI :smokin

I have no idea what that is

I just play/DL games and watch netflix

Twitch is just a platform for streaming games and game related content.
http://www.twitch.tv/

On your PS4 if you go to the Live from Playstation app, you can watch the games people are streaming from their PS4 using either Twitch or Ustream

With this new Twitch app, we'll able to not only watch streams from people streaming from their PS4's but anyone who uses the service to stream so people on PC, Vita Xbox etc.
It would also allow us to watch archives from past streams.

It's nice they finally made something native but I've just been using my chromecast to do it from my iphone/ipad for forever.

I don't know how many are still on PS3 only, but some crumby news if you are and into COD.
CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 3 FOR PS3 AND XBOX 360 WON'T HAVE A SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN
You still get multiplayer and Zombies on old-gen consoles.

BY MICHAEL MARTIN  Call of Duty: Black Ops III for older generation consoles will not come with the same features as the current-gen versions of the game.

According to the Call of Duty blog, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III will not come with a single player campaign.

“The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware,” Activision posted on the blog.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will still have the full-featured multiplayer mode that includes the momentum-based movement system and Specialist classes. In addition, players will still have access to Shadows of Evil, Black Ops III’s new Zombies mode, which features an adventure inspired by 1940s film-noir.

Activision also noted in the blog that Weapon Paint Shop and the eSports tools for Black Ops III will only be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches on November 6. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be available for $50 USD and will include a download for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops in some regions.

In related Call of Duty: Black Ops III news, a new Black Ops III PlayStation 4 bundle featuring a black and orange design on the console and controller was recently revealed and is available for pre-order.
Throwing Black Ops 1 in there is just stupid. Only reason for doing that is so they won't have to price the game at $30 or below. I wonder how all of the people that already preordered feel. This is something that should have been announced months ago.
