Paid for bf4 I might pick up assassins creed as well on Thursday night

They seriously goofed not making GTAV for the ps4 SMH

We saw the new feature in action today during a demo of the PS4's system interface at a big press event tied to the console's Friday launch.P

The system will list each Trophy a player has earned and will classify them as common, rare, very rare, or ultra rare. Trophies are still also designated as bronze, silver, gold and platinum to denote the difficulty in obtaining them. Rarity, however, is a dynamic quality that will be calculated online across the PlayStation userbase. A Trophy might prove rare because it is tough to get, or it might be rare because few people have bothered to play the game it's in. Rarity can change over time.P

As best we can tell, the rest of the PS4's Trophy system matches what is on the PS3 and Vita. Earning Trophies still fills a progress bar that gradually levels up the numerical rank of the person who earned them. Trophies still have to sync online. They can still be earned offline.P

The PS4 Trophy interface lists Trophies that the player has earned on PS4, PS3 and Vita.P

We will have plenty more about the PS4 as the week progresses, including a review of the console on Wednesday morning at 9am ET.

It even tells you what trophies are easiest to get that you still have not gotten in games you have played (Trophy Advisor).

My local Gamestop has been good to me customer service wise lately.

They called me last night telling me they checked their store records on my PS4 pre order which is paid off already, and that they actually owe me $64 and some change because I was overcharged.I originally put down the required $100 deposit for the pre order back in June the same night E3 went down and the price was announced.Over the next couple months I slowly paid it off with cash and trading in a PS3 Slim 160GB, traded in a bunch of old PS3 games & a old Sixaxis non rumble DS3.

Also my other good customer service experience with this Gamestop store was when I sold back to them a PS3 Slim 160GB that I came up on craigslist for $40 which I fixed up a few minor things.I traded it in to them and originally even with their promo that was going on at the time was giving me $110, 2 days later a new promo ran and the trade in value for that PS3 went up to $130.I called the store back up and the easily gave me the price adjustment.

So yeah Gamestop as a retail store is back in my good graces.For a long time I refused to shop there and due business with them.

I understand that people like boost want to have tools available to to customize the UI.

But at the same time Sony is trying to completely prevent piracy and the use of custom firmware, which of course we know won't happen.Sony got embarrassed and was humbled after they patched and took away the ability to install Linux on PS3 which pissed off and led the hacking community to HACK and got PSN shutdown for nearly 3 months.

I didn't preorder because Target/Bestbuy's preorders weren't for delivery on release day.They said somewhere in the fine print Guaranteed to ship before 12/31/13 which probably means that the console would be backordered for an undisclosed amount of time. Could be weeks or months. I'd rather the chance to line up around my BB instead of being in limbo possibly waiting months when I can try my luck at scoring a console on release day.



I'm guessing I missed the window right before Gamestop stopped accepting preorders. My neighborhood isn't too crazy so hopefully going up there at 3pm for midnight release is fair enough

I traded in my DS3 and a few other games to receive my copy of 2k14 because I'm almost certain that the Target near my neighborhood won't sell 2K until launch day :smh:

As for Amazon's BOGO deal, I'm probably going with KZ, BF/COD, and NFS.

I was definitely one of those dudes more excited for GTA than the PS4. Couldn't wait for that game to come out

picked up NBA 2k14 at gamestop...

also played Knack at target and its pretty fun :lol:
might pick it up and make it Killzone, BF4, COD Ghost, 2k, Madden, and knack all by friday

How in the world are u going to have time to play all that?

In the search for true look next gen experience, I've narrowed it down to kill zone and 2k14.

Contrast looks good too on the download side of things.
