GameStop may have off-the-shelf PS4 stock at launch
GameStop may have stock of PlayStation 4 consoles freely available to buy off the shelf on launch day, the retailer has suggested.
The US chain tucked a note away in a press release confirming its PS4 launch plans overnight, stating that "while demand is extremely high, customers who did not pre-order a console are encouraged to contact their store location or www.gamestop.com to check availability".
Sony has previously confirmed that it is holding back some stock of PS4 hardware to allow customers to walk into a store and buy one at launch.

Just got back from target they had all launch games. There were 6 other people once the store open we all walked over to the games section and had the employees running around like crazy for a minute. copped FIFA, battlefield 4 and 2k14. Will be picking up KillZone best buy bundle on release date.

Man I hope BF4 isn't gone when I get off today. Worst case I'll just keep COD and swap it out for Dead Rising 3 next week.

There will be a ton of ps4's to go around in the nyc area just do your homework. Almost every store is covering preorders and will have extras available including gamestops!

Game Stop has it. But only game worth playing to me was FIFA and Knack.
I went to Target by my school and they only had BF4, AC, AND 2k.
I hope either Madden, FIFA, or NFS is available at the one by my house so I can swap AC & 2K.
