DON'T SEE HOW RETURNING GAMES IS FRAUD. IT'S ALL WITHIN THE RULES THESE COMPANIES HAVE SET UP ON THEIR OWN.
NOTHING WRONG WITH BUYING GAMES AT TARGET AND RETURNING THEM AT WALMART, IF WALMART THEMSELVES ALLOWS THE GAMES TO BE RETURNED WITHOUT A RECEIPT.

Man, not to sound holier than thou, but don't you feel at least a little guilty scamming your way into so many free games? I mean especially considering you were able to plop down the $400 for the system itself?

I was so excited to potentially go back live it up like the good old Toys R Us days, that we all abused. Still have a few games from the aftermath. Anyways, can't complain, PS4 is already pretty inexpensive.

you missed the ultimate step, to eventually get the ps4 from returned games, thus getting the ps4 for $120+ tax.
but i agree it was a little much. Im not one to usually try and screw people/companies over. You fender bender me with no significant damage, im not the one who claims injury and damages. But a deal like this, where its proven to work in the past, why not?
I was just gonna post my haul and feel great about it, but it doesn't even work.

I have a question for those of you looking for a PS4 but didn't preorder? Why didn't you preorder? Were you undecided on which system to get? On Amazon you could preorder both and neither would be billed to your card until it shipped. Were you just not sure that you wanted to get one? I'm just asking. It seems like a lot of the hassle could have been avoided by preordering.

In the event something does go wrong with your system, the one disadvantage is having to ship and wait for your console to be repaired or wait for a replacement that in all possibility might be refurbished. In-store warranties allow you to go back to the store you bought it from and walk out with a new one. It's slight advantage in my opinion but nothing major. It's good for people who get separation anxiety from their consoles while its shipped off.

i didn't preorder bc my brother preordered from amazon. (don't live with him) I'll be at his house on friday though for the delivery, he works that day. Told myself, i don't need it until MGS V, but will still try and grab one on Friday. Will check out 24 hr wal-marts in my area at midnight to see if i can get my hands on one

It'll probably be madness for two or three weeks in terms of stock. Sony sounds like they're doing a lot to combat that though, so it's hard to tell.

My Gamestop is handing out numbers starting at 6 on Thursday.. Then close at 9 I think he said and reopen at 11. I'm gonna try to go there at like 530 and just chill try to get that first ticket.. That way I can head out there at like 11:55 pick it up and go home

BUT they also said they are selling off the rest of their stock at 6pm as well, so there will most likely be tons of people there who didn't preorder in line way before 6. Probably a few who will camp overnight.
I'm not sure if all GameStops are doing it this way, but I would check before you assume that you will get the first ticket by getting there at 5:30.

I honestly don't even care what ticket I get.. the farther back my ticket the later I'll head out. At least they ain't making people wait outside since they're opening back up at 11.. Already talked to the manager. I didn't ask whether if they're selling off the rest of their stock or not. I went in there this past weekend to ask how they're going about midnight release and that's what he told me. Ticket will be handed out at 6 and store will reopen at 11.
And if it's hella packed at 5:30 I'll just go back another time.. it doesn't matter to me as long as I get my ticket so if I don't go to midnight release I can pick it up when they open at 9

I have a 40GB PS3 that has YLOD. Will gamestop take it with the YLOD or should I just do the temp fix and take it in?

soem guy posted he got 80 for a RRD xbox. I don't know how they test them.
