I'm in the market for a decent 40in led hdtv. The brands I'm considering are samsung, sony, lg, and vizio. Are there any other brands I should consider?
What is good input lag for games? I play mainily action/adventure games, so is this really that important?

I actually thought about this earlier
The fact that I hated paying to play online was one of the main reasons I switched from 360 to PS3, and now we're going into a generation where free online play is exclusive to Nintendo
One of those things you just have to sigh and charge to the game I guess. At least there are free PS3 and PS4 games in it as well. |I

got back from best buy and asked if there doing midnight release for the preorders, dude said yea and recommended that I show up early cus they don't think they'll have enough ps4s for the amount of people who did preorder...what in the world...

Yea this sounds about right. I remember working at best buy when the iPhone 4 came out. We had like 40 - 50 preorders (it was a smaller store)

I've got a pre-order sitting at BB and GS both from back in June so they better have mine... will probably wait till I get that call from GS to cancel the BB one. Or I'll show up for BB pick it up and head over to GS to get my pre-order and then return the BB next day so some lucky MFer doesn't have to wait... just want to make sure I get mine, no need for 2 or reselling.
