That Future Shop deal was legit and insane. They had a line up at my local Future Shop 100+ by 9 am this morning...

They ran out of 360 games by 1230, PS3 by 2. My buddy brought his GF, his little brother and 4 friends, got 7 games, then walked over to EB and they gave him straight across trade ($400) toward a PS4.

He got a PS4 for NHL 09, two copies of NHL 10, Fear 2, MLB 09, NCAA 08, and some Wii game. :rofl:

So I checked 3 nearby Target stores in my city today.

First store knew about the sale starting tomorrow.This store only had and was selling Call Of Duty: Ghosts for PS4 and also had the DS4 on display and for sale.

Second store 2 Target employees at the store were working there.Young late teen to early 20's Target employee knew about the deal but her stoner co worker was clue less and was saying "Uh yeah man I know nothing about the sale starting tomorrow and haven't been notified in our staff meeting and my employee folder has no info on the deal.

Third store was even worse.Male Target employee knew nothing about the deal and said "Yeah man we got no PS4 games on display or haven't received any games yet.Then he checked with his electronics department employee and this dumb lady tries telling me "Sir I'm sorry I know about the sale but it's only for online at Target.com". I tell her the sale is well known and is already out on the internet and will be in the Sunday paper tomorrow and is in fact in store and online is excluded.


Needles to say after Target's horrible customer service I won't be shopping there for video games and won't deal with madness and potential riots coming this Friday.

I'm a Best Buy Gamers Unlocked Rewards Zone Member (Paid Yearly membership). I've done the math and because of Best Buy's changes where members now get 20% off new games and the deal they are running this week comes out to the same what you will pay with Target's B2G1 free deal.

Here are the #'s:

Target B2G1 free: 2 games at $59.99 + 8% CA sales tax your looking at $64.78 x 2= $129.56 out of pocket before you get the 3rd free game.

Best Buy deal buy 3 games get $25 rewards zone cert + 20% off each game for Gamers Unlocked paid membership:

3 games at $59.99 + 8% sales tax, minus 20% off each game= $51.82 x 3= $155.46-$25 you will get back through the rewards zone cert.

Grand Total at Best Buy: $130.46

So all people are really saving at Target is $1.10.Not worth the hassle for me.Best Buy will be getting my money instead of Target.

I'm getting Killzone Shadow Fall, NBA 2K14, and Need For Speed Rivals.

I don't shop at Toysrus though because their stores are hardly around anymore. The 2 stores closest to me are both over 20 miles away from my house.

Looking like bf4 2k and knack unless something changes. Maybe shadowfall since it looks bertifurr just not how it plays

i don't have a gamer unlocked thing or what ever it is.. so i'm gonna still try my luck with target.. good info tho 
 
targets being shady...i called 3 of them all said i dunno about the sale and we have no ps4 games in stock....but when you store check on target.com it shows they have some games in stock

I'm actually considering just going with the Toysrus deal instead now for 2 games and the $15 gift card deal.

Reason being is 2 launch games is more than enough + the free PS+ games, free 2 play games and also right now I still have my PS3 and play GTA: Online.

Unless I show Best Buy Toysrus's deal and they match it and give me a $50 rewards zone cert instead of $25.

Hmmm.....

It is almost impossible for these target workers to not know anything. I worked at Target for over a year and each week, in the back room the next weeks ad is always back there and even in the computers, which can be easily printed out. Even the lowest team member on the floor has access to it. Sorry to cut in, just stating my knowledge about Target.
