Yeah, I didn't know Playstation Access was owned by SCEE. It felt like a fan made deal, especially with other licensed products in it. Not something you typically see in an official piece.
True, but as the gif shows above, they could just impose footage on the TV screen. The system and the controller are there though, so yeah.

Makes me want to break out the OG PlayStation. I don't have that many games for it though. We were broke. 
Thank goodness for Underground Jam Pack demo discs. That video is bringing back so many memories. I remember bringing a pencil and a sheet of paper into the game stores to copy down the codes from strategy guides. I remember getting those free one week rental coupons from Rogers Video (Canadian Blockbuster) in the mail. My face always lit up.
I rented Ape Escape multiple times just to beat it. Same with the Spider-Man games. So many classics. Tony Hawk, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Silent Hill, Fighting Force, Dino Crisis, Spyro, Crash, Gex, Klonoa, Tomba, Final Fantasy 7-9, The Legend of Dragoon, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross, GTA, Ridge Racer, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Tekken, Bloody Roar, Street Fighter Alpha, Rival Schools, Twisted Metal, Tenchu, Tomb Raider...

Sess is an Xbox homer too. He even calls L1 and R1 bumpers.
I never thought about it, but if the PS4 controller can be detected as a generic USB device and work natively out of the box with a PC, it should be able to work with the PS3 fine. I have 2 USB Saturn pads that I use with my PS3. It probably won't work with the PS3 wirelessly though.

i wanna keep all the same friends i have on PS3, but i dont wanna use Nintendawg as my PSN anymore. I hope i can make a new PS4 account and still sync with my different PSN PS3 account. But i doubt it.

I think you're able to see friends signed in on PS3's and message them, but you can't voice chat or play games with them.
