Because Sony knows wants us to game all weekend.
I'm extremely happy it's on a Friday, if it was a Tuesday (like most media launches) I would be pissed to have to go to work the next day. I'm taking Friday off, 3 day weekend with me and just my PS4

I wish it was a Tuesday, my weekends are Wed and Thur. so that woulda been perfect.

It was confirmed on Neogaf via a Sony exec. But it was in August or September though, so pretty recent.
Scooped my DS4 today. Love it, excited to use it in a couple weeks. Got BF4 coming at midnight, Ill be on for a bit tonight.

Battlefield looks really good, but I want that Killzone: Shadow Fall. I'm going to download Blacklight: Retribution too, because it's free. I don't want to OD on shooters. I'm getting Knack as my second game for diversity and I like those types of games.

I'm in the same boat. KZ seems yo be that release date game that will best show that the next generation is here. Meanwhile that 32 on 32 multiplayer in battlefield will be nuts .

The X1 looks like it has more aliasing problems and the HUD is larger. Is it at a smaller resolution? The PS4 version looks better to me, but whoever captured the PS4 needs to adjust their brightness and contrast.
The back and forth fanboy war that occurs when sites do these comparisons is hilarious though, because you never know how the games were captured and if they have some agenda while capturing them. It was ridiculous this generation, and it will be ridiculous in the next.

For good or bad, BF4 is more of the same. Just played it for 3 hours. Next gen may bring a prettier game, but gameplay is not what I was hoping for. Ill still play it, but to be honest it just seems like BF3 DLC.
