If you wanted to, you could pre-sell your console right this second on ebay.

Just make an auction with a reserve.

Just make sure your potential buyer knows that he's buying a preordered console rather than an actual console.

you'd have to pay an extra $60 for the walmart bundle to get what you get with the Official Sony bundle.  Don't forget tho, i'm poor.

The french bundle is in euros so if you convert that to usd, they're paying $569 usd.

console: $400

killzone: $60

controller:$60

camera: $60

So the walmart bundle would be $577(with extra accessory), which would be pretty much the same price as the french bundle.

Like I said earlier.

I don't think these bundles are meant to save you money rather than to move software/accessories.

The walmart one is, the French Euro one is a bundle to save money and move accessories (for those in France).

They'd be practically giving away accessories for free.

Also that bundle is already here, check out walmart.com.

Your arguement makes no sense...

if they are selling the PS4 for 399 Euro and $399... why wouldnt the budle that costs 499 Euro be $499?

PS camera:  59,99

killzone, sf:  59,99

a total of EUR 179,97

all for EUR 499,99... How is it "no way the bundle would cost that much." in the states?

Now just change all of those euros into dollar signs, without using the exchange rate..... there we go, now we're on the same page... It's not uncommon for bundles to do this, i.e. 500 gb PS3 slim bundle with gta.  You get more for your money with bundles....

Stop bringing up walmart, those aren't bundles, those are, "this is the only way we can sell you the system, only if you buy at least a game and accessory for it."

I see.

Amazon had similar "bundles" so I figured that this french bundle was just to move ps4 accessories.
 
You know Sony is saving a blockbuster announcement, something to put them over the top when the PS4 launches... would that be awesome if they make their first DAY 1 game for PS4, NOT a PS4 title and a PS3 title like...

GTA V.

Than again sells of the PS3 would fall into the abyss even worse than they do already. I guess a Holiday announcement is still possible.
 
PS4 is going to sell out the first three months regardless of what happens. I think Sony will wait until March-April when sales are dying down and those tax returns are coming in to drop a bombshell.

While Microsoft on the other hand has to come out with all the stops now.

Not sure what you mean by PS3 sales falling into the abyss more than they are... PS3 has been out selling the 360 almost 2-1 lately and has moved into a solid second place in sales with almost a million more sold than the 360... Plus PS has continued to support their platform with AAA titles unlike the other guys. I hate to sound like a fanboy, but your comment makes no sense.

I was unimpressed.

It's convenient to an extent.

But this would just lead me to make more impulse purchases.
 
Yea it's not exactly new, I'm sure it was shown in the UI Demo after E3.
The one with Sarah Greene.

It is pretty cool despite the pitfalls/lack of self control it implies.

I remember when ps3 came out and it was all the rage i walked into target like early January when they were supposedly sold out everywhere...they had one left for some unknown reason...i stared in the case like oh it must be a empty display box....nope...asked the employee to get it for me...walked to the register like i was smeegle and it was the ring :lol:

and i'm one of those "i need empty space on my harddrive for no reason whatsoever" type of guy looks like i'm also purchasing a terabyte drive to swap out the 500GB on day 1 for the impulse purchases someone mentioned

i know i'm a weirdo
 
Smh, I had so many oppurtunities to pre order and I waited and waited and missed out. Cant stand bundles, ESPECIALLY when it wont be a launch system. Im not that annoyed though cause Im not into any of the launch games and there is no backwards compat. Unlike ps3 where I had resistance and madden and was still able to play my ps2 back log so it got heavy use until better games were out. Still hoping I can come accross one though.
