My release day 60 gig is still going strong.

That's in my living room, the slim is in my bedroom.

You guys think digital downloads make the lifespan longer on a console over disc? Or is it just the same.

OG Slim is still the best to me.

The Phat was nice because it was premium to the max but it's huge.

The slim has that nice size, nice curves and looked great with the special editions.

Waiting to see PS4 in person before judging it but it looks good from the pics already.

I still got my fat ps3. 80gb

Btw, I wanted to ask..does anyone know if the ps4 HDD will be 5400 rpm or will it be higher?

I plan on buying a 1tb HDD to put in the ps4 and take out the 500 gb and put it in my ps3.

From my understanding, yes.

There's supposedly less wear/tear on the console, since the console doesn't have to spin the disc.

My brother still has a 80Gig PS3 going strong ( just finished putting 40 hours into the new tales game)

Do you know if the Pulse headset will work with the PS4?

it shouldnt be that much different now that games on disc are going to be installing too during the first play with the disc mainly being for verification later on

at least thats what cerny has made it sound like

heres the quote
So, what we do as the game accesses the Blu-ray disc, is we take any data that was accessed and we put it on the hard drive. And if then if there is idle time, we go ahead and copy the remaining data to the hard drive. And what that means is after an hour or two, the game is on the hard drive, and you have access, you have dramatically quicker loading… And you have the ability to do some truly high-speed streaming.

anybody wanna recommend a headset for me? I know it comes included but I need something that'll work for both my 360 n P4

I don't think that possible because of xbox's connection. sony uses the standard. usb or 3.5mm.

Ive used a usb headset on the Xbox before. it's the small talkbalk piece that connects to the controller but if they have that same wire for the ps3 doubt it

I read somewhere that the elite is confirmed to be supported by ps4

Yea that OG ps3 weighed a ton.

Still have a broken one sitting in my closet.

Man did anyone's OG PS3 ever pass the test of time? Mine got the YLOD and I was >:  because I had to get a newer one that didn't have backwards compatibility :smh:

My bro got the 60 GB the day it dropped, it's been through hell and back and it's still going strong. Backwards Compatibility :smokin
