They aren't getting interest off of it. lol

They are never actually get the money, they just place a charge and never finalize it, so it just sits there. You can't spend it, they can't take it.

Its same thing when a company ask you to verify a credit card, and it charges you $1 temporarily but never fully takes it. They are verifying you have a valid card, in Best Buys case they are verifying you have the $400 and a valid card.

Sucks if your using a debit card with money coming from your checking, but if your using a credit card it shouldn't be a problem unless you are a person that maxes out Credit Cards
 
I just preordered at GS. It was 100 for the console and 5 for an extra controller. Guy said it was RD pickup. I wanna go ham and pick up a few more to flip. Not sure what the lag time (if any) between when the RD and second wave of consoles. Since we dont have a RD its hard to gauge.

yep, which is what i found out today when i saw a hold on my account for the games. Which is also why I cancelled that order. and placed it with gamestop. I left my order for the systems with bestbuy tho, just made more sense in the long run. They sent me an email a little while ago when a RD update saying my systems will be available Nov 30th. Can't wait.

wish we could get numbers on people who planned on getting xbox then switched after the announcement.

i know that in my case, MS would have had to do very little to keep me on the xbox side...

November 30th is not the exact release date.Sony has not announced it yet and Best Buy is just using a guessed place holder date.

I dunno, the audience for street fighter is just on nintendo platforms. I'm sure Capcom will rather use next gen's full capabilities for their next fighters. Can you imagine Marvel vs Capcom 4 on PS4 :x

It looks like most of the games I want aren't gonna be coming out until 2014 so I think I'm gonna wait until January to cop.   Sorry if it's already been posted but does anyone have any info on what games are coming out with the launch of  the PS4?

I meant it would be on both or all 3 consoles. They aren't gonna just put it on PS3 or X1, Nintendo probably will always have their own version. And like someone else said, too much money to be lost for Capcom not to make a game like that multiplat.

like sf4 or marvel were on nintendo consoles (not counting the 3ds version)
 
Question to you guys regarding the wifi. Will it be significantly better than the ps3 wifi?

Was the ps3 one bad? If so I don't recall having troubles with it.

My router is downstairs in my basement and my ps3 was upstairs in my bedroom that's 2 floors up and I never had a problem with my connection.

But to answer your question.. prob
