I did the same on Tuesday.. I asked the girl she was talking about 100 minimum and whatnot so I just paid and preordered like I was with a videogame.. pretty easy

Hope it's not just take a million preorders and first come first serve.. cause I plan on picking mine up after work and not midnight like some fools are

I pre ordered both, I got the last XB1 and there was still a few ps4. They said they got less than 30. Other gamestops were sold out.

the receipt says they will hold it for 48hrs

Gamestop is only going to take as many pre-orders for as many systems as they are ordered to get. Don't worry about them taking any and everybody's $100.

What is the difference between the "Launch" Edition & "Standard" Edition on Amazon.com for PS4? Thanks.

PO

Launch edition is the 1st shipment of consoles.

Standard edition is everything after.

Remote Play

Remote Play on the PS4 system fully unlocks the PlayStation Vita system’s potential, making it the ultimate companion device. With the PS Vita system, gamers will be able to seamlessly play a range of PS4 titles on the beautiful 5-inch display over Wi-Fi access points in a local area network.

didn't see any videos of it in action..

PlayStation 4 natively supports Vita Remote Play at a system level, meaning almost every game will support the feature.

“On PlayStation 4, it just happens. You just make a PS4 game, it supports Remote Play,” SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida told Engadget.

Not every game will work – “Maybe not Just Dance,” Yoshida joked, since that will use PlayStation Move or PlayStation Camera – but Sony has made it pretty easy for developers to opt-in.

“Please make sure that when you play your games on Vita, the control is good. That’s the minimum thing we’re asking them to do,” he said.

^^good looking out.. I havent had a handheld since the OG PSP.

One thing I'm really looking forward to is the Playstation App for my tablet. The examples they showed using Need For Speed and Battlefield 4 had the nerd in me excited.

just saw the remote play over ps vita feature :wow:

sony about to take me for $650 :smh:
Yeah since they previewed it at the reveal I've been considering a Vita. I'm waiting for a price drop though hopefully there will be one soon.

I had a PSP back in day but never bought a new one after that got stolen, only time I really played it was when I was on trips or traveling.

One of the known Xbox users on Youtube is thinking about jumping ship. You how he's probably gonna influence a few thousand of his subscribers.
